I'm constanly amazed by Grace. She is soo young, but her answers are so mature. She is authentic, I feel like she will always stay close to herself, it's what she does best!

This totally unique child when being put into a formal situation handles herself with consumate ease and maturity, as she does when performing, except when something happens that she didn't expect, like someone shouting 'I love You Grace' then that totally natural girl emerges to everyone absolute joy. She has changed in many ways in a year but still keeps and if anything has developed without realising it, that youthful exhuberance that we all love. That youthful natural behaviour is what will take her to new heights and will enable her to override the stumbles when they occur. Grace Vanderwaal is so unique and without doubt will be the biggest star to ever emerge from America's Got Talent.

This is a great song. Grace can really write. Its like she's so seasoned, at such a young age.

Love this interview, love her energy and love what she does, including what she does for us. The thought just entered my mind as I'm not quite half through listening to this interview - listening to Grace's responses, namely, her choice of words, her voice inflexions, and phrasing, and her almost spontanious answers, in addition to her songwriting, and composing, and singing ...I seriously think that Grace is a GENIUS!!

Just when I think I can't be more amazed with her writing, unfathomable maturity, and yeah... grace... she makes statements like this about writing music. That she makes a point not to think about the album, but just writes from the heart. ohmygod, she's incredibly talented and wise without being pretentious. So amazing.

I love Grace so much and her Mam and Dad must be so proud of her.

Its more than likely she's just tired. I do the same thing. If you ask me about computers and building them at a random point in the day, I'll give you as much info as possible, ask me after some strenuous work, I won't be as enthusiastic about it.

I'm a little worried about her, she seems a bit down, that all this is happening so fast and it's hard for her to keep up. I think it's too much pressure for her and she needs to step back and take it easy and be somewhat of a kid again for awhile... Too much too fast. Hope her parents are pushing her too hard or letting others push her too hard. Super talented and sweet.
