Greets from Germany. 4 days ago, I stood in Killmainham Jail, in front of the altair.... and I got tears in my eyes.

Every time I think I am angry with my wife, I come and listen to this song and it makes all the bull crap melt away, and reminds me of what is truly important an how dearly I love her. Wonderful and heart wrenching song.

I've always liked this song. Did you know it is based on actual events? When I visited the old prison in Dublin they took us to the cell where they were married.
