i can still remember the first time seeing grace.. almost 20 years ago at wakarusa in kansas in a small tent in the middle of the day.. i was camped in the vip area near the stage and heard her first song and was inside my tent listening to this amazing voice and had to come out of the tent and go watch the show .. was 2004 and im so happy that i did that .. have seen her play several times since over the years and love her energy on stage.. once i saw her at a allgood fest and she wore this white flowing wings looking outfit that made her look like a angel on that stage .. great voice and great live show , highly recommend seeing her if you can .. peace

@@macjuiceplussharesmiller4379 wakarusa was crazy . they had like 6 different police agencies because it was on state park land. i guess wakarusa means ass deep in native american speak because the river that runs through lawrence is ass deep all the way across.. or so im told anyways.. i went there to see buckethead play. i do remember seeing grace that weekend and was blown away by her show. the cops were TERRIBLE .. they even had a little look out tower built of wood like a tree stand where they used night vision to watch for people lighting up bowls. they were going from campsite to campsite just tossing peoples pockets and making arrests left and right.. it was so bad they ended up moving the whole festival to Arkansas because of the police being such pricks.. they had drug sniffing dogs at the entrance to the show.. people were getting popped and they basically ruined any chance of a festival ever coming back to kansas .. i say good.. kansas sucked anyways .. nothing to miss and the cops and laws are awful there.

WOW 😮 - amazing! I’ve watched/heard a LOT of songs done years ago by Grace Potter, but THIS is SO MUCH different from what I was expecting, and not her ‘usual’ solo, softer 🎤 style. It’s not AS good as Tina Turner’s imho, BUT her ‘cover’ (not CCR’s) was still 👍 imo! Despite her age now, she’s got the energy and moves, and I think Tina would be 🙌👏 and thrilled 🤩 with her tribute and rendition on one of her classic hits!
