There are people who only watch the video without the ads and the like. HI JEFF: OMG I know exactly that area where you are walking trying to get to the beach. I stayed right there. It is a nightmare to find where to go down onto the beach. They keep making it harder and harder. What breaks my heart is even five years ago that place was a beautiful tranquil oasis comparatively speaking. The money that's coming in there and the development is "Miamizing" T&C. Previously it was an idyllic vacation. The Ritz Carlton wields so much local political power that they have basically turned that place into an encampment. There was a time T&C was a "reasonable" place to visit. A family gets totally (!) screwed when you add it all up. Ritz and the $ developers are turning it into another expensive "cayman-islands" type pricing experience. Doing the excursions are priced off-the-charts too. Where you stayed is a "bargain" compared to most accommodations there. Heartbreaking, but the locals want the bucks big-time. Sadly I guess its inevitable. PS: What I am trying to say is T&C has gone from a reasonably priced quiet Bahamian outer-island experience, to more of a Waikiki expensive experience. Even in your video the new structures were overwhelming. Having seen it earlier in its day I think I might find the next visit all too depressing.

I will be there this Saturday, outside of the beaches and regent village area, whats some of the other places in Provo you can visit?

We as a family have visited many times, never had a problem getting a rental car. There is public access beside The Somerset Resort.

We will be there in 1.5 weeks! What is your number one recommendation for dinner? Have you tried a patty? Safe travels and thanks for sharing!

In 2006 I lived in turks... This was amazing I worked in Veranda Hotel, this hotel was built by Mexicans.

Ah yes there is a couple and slot machines in random bars. One big one near grace bay at the Ritz!

I recommend going to Taylor Bay beach and eating at Hemingway’s

Grace bay is walkable but it’s quite spread out

Can you explain the paperwork? Why so painful to talk about? I want to be prepared so I can spend as much time having fun on the beach with our friends and not filling out paperwork. I enjoyed your video and look forward to seeing more! I am an extremely anxious and nervous traveler. I want to travel more but am afraid of all the problems that could happen and how I could not understand how to fix. I get so nervous I am often sick. Any tips on this on this would be appreciated too. I see a doctor about this but still would appreciate any advice. I am a new subscriber, maybe you have already made a video about this!

If he thinks Ritz-Carlton is the most expensive resort in the world, he hasn’t traveled very much.

When someone gets to Grace Bay, a paradisiac beach renowned for its water and sand quality, and then when finally arriving at the beach after talking 10 minutes about freaking Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons and other entirely irrelevant stuff, they finally set a foot on the world-famous sand of Grace Bay, not even taking off their shoes, and the first thing they notice is: "oh look at these big beautiful hotels". It's exactly these travellers that suck the soul out of a beach, and the reason why there actually is a Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons around. I'm sure this beach used to be nice.

You have to Join the Turks and Caicos Facebook page ok? I have been there over 20 times cuz it is the Best Place in the World….you do sound silly cuz Turks lovers do not like or approve of Ritz. Grace Bay Club is the best! Not the Ritz. Just sayin

Too dark, too much walking around, too much mindless conversation……of zero value. You have the capability because you are worldly, needs a reshoot with better preparation

I wonder what are some of the parameters for choosing the best beach in the world that these magazines use because I'm not seeing anything that surpasses The Maldives or Bora Bora.

I agree. I have never been to those places, and although the TCI has beautiful beaches, I would hesitate to agree that's its the #1 in the world. I will say however, that Grace Bay, is a spectacular beach, as far as beaches go.

I personally love Grace Bay beach! Definitely the most beautiful I've ever seen; and I've seen many!
