When they releases SORA everyone will release GTA 6 before GTA 6. I feel what everyone missed in their SORA scientific papers is that it works in reverse. In order to create the videos it renders in 3D, so in theory it creates 3D video games with reality precision almost live. Was presented as a video.

Memories is amazing. Imagine you have a secretary recording whatever you want him/her to remember. And then organize them.

I have the memory feature. I have noticed improvements. Sounds like voice functionality will be on par with Hume AI. Also - sounds like latency is being addressed. If users could opt to permit the desktop version to screen record as opposed to just clipboard proxy, 4-0 could be a game-changer

I have the memory feature, but all it does when it puts things in memory is summarize the "memory" into single descriptive words and very short phrases. even then it makes mistakes and doesn't remember important details without being specifically reminded

Memory feature is available in Canada.

I had suspected that OpenAI will launch a hardware, but after seeing these updates, I feel OpenAI will most likely will release a hardware, maybe a phone or glasses or something, this update is the step towards that...

They (Microsoft) will integrate this into everything. They will release gadgets. It's all coming. Don't kid yourselves. And once all of that gains traction and is in the mainstream...they will shut OpenAI down as a separate entity.

I have had the memory feature for about 2 weeks now (Plus user). I love that I don't have to remind it about stuff. Rarely, ChatGPT has offered up a consideration during an unrelated topic of discussion that relates to it's memory about me. Kinda cool, very much like a friend.

I have the memory feature, had it for two weeks now. I have “access to 4o” it shows up as an option but it doesn’t seem to have an updated voice/vision but it responds faster than 4.

I have the memory feature. It's good. It works like endless custom instructions. It knows when you say something more important verses random things. It remembers things I like or prefer and then references them in future conversations.

I'm pretty sure that the new model that they've said it'll be announced soon (at the end of the stream) it'll be for pay users

This update for the voice response and "Emotions" reminds me of Pi AI Assistant but like 10X better. I was wondering when they would do something similar to Pi, the voice inflection is amazing much more natural than many out there.

Is this a hint of AGI?

I think you just hit on the answer to a key question that I was wondering myself: 'How can they afford to give away so much for free?' and the answer is 'a disgusting amount of training data'. We know that Altman is all about betting long and betting big. If they have the financial backing to weather the short term lack of income to make GPT4o available to everyone they're going to absolutely engulf the competition in terms of available training data to improve future releases. The uptake on this model will be far greater than the previous models, due to the conversational speech alone.

I’m trying the 4o speech chat right now and the lag is still about 3 seconds. And it could not change its voice tones because of “heavy user load”.

They haven't even rolled it out yet, I think you are still using the old. GPT-4o is only out for API users and we cant use voice to voice

@@roccovergoglini7670 Probably true. I think what they are usimg now is speech to text for your input and the it outputs to you with text to speech, that's why it's so slow. I have NO idea how they made the new that fast. It's like its voice to voice and thats it, no middle man. What do you think?

I think this will change the internet, if you start experimenting with GPT-4o agents that can do diffrent task for you, like daily life stuff. Like now we always order our groceries, what if you can just let the agent do those stuff for you?

VPN is enough to have GPT Memory, it checks from which country are you connected, in some country (i.e. European countries) doesn't works.

Plot twist: that OpenAI presenter lady is an A.I bit video. you can see the glitches on the sides from time to time. ex: at 1min02 she is clearly behind a huge greenscreen. the background is as sharp as the forefront. look at that kitchenette at the back. see how crisp it is?
