Is there any consideration for creating a video for use of the GPStar's Pack Kit with other Proton Pack options? The HasLabs Pack is not an option for anyone any more. The options available to most people in 2024 is: the "Life Sized" version of the Spirit Halloween OR the QPACK 3D Print kit (or any other from scratch option.) While there were likely a few people who this kit would had been handy for in 2023... here in 2024, everyone looking at a new Pack build has to pretent the HasLabs Pack never existed.

One thing i noticed is that the high sounding pur when you switch on activate doesn't wind up from a low pitched pur before it settles on the idle sound of it. I believe it previously did on the board a few months back but obviously less screen accurate. But I do love how it was in the film with it winding from low to its starting tone after switching activate. 🤔

#importantsafetytipthanksegon7 I was have some pretty serious issues getting connection between the wand and the pack when I built mine, using the essentials kit. Ultimately it boils down to the wires in the hose and wand handle going into the socket connectors. The clinko connectors are simply not meant for such a small gauge wire. To combat this, on the tips of each wire, I added a small bead of solder to increase connectivity between the wire and housing and give more surface area for the housing to “bite” the wire.

  • @jonogunn

I assume you meant the neutrik connector and yes unfortunately they are quite thin. The suggestion we were throwing out on our fb group was to expose a bit more a fold it. Seems to be an easy fix for ppl.

Can you just add the pack board and reconnect all the stock wires? Can I also keep the stock speaker since I soldered an aux cable to it and have it connected to external speakers? I've heard the ninjatunes board is not compliant with this. I also have a Talentcell installed to power the board.

Just got my essentials kit and I am working on installing them now. One thing that threw me off on in this video was the Micro SD card size requirements. Jono says you need at least "8gb" micro cards, but his manual says 2gb each. So, from I can tell, 2gb is enough.

I noticed that there was barely any sound coming from my neutrona wand so I opened it up cut and striped the yellow wires for the speaker so that they would be a cleaner (de-soldering left them warped and messy) and possibly have a better connection, now there's no sound from the wand at all. What did I do wrong? Update: I got the sound working again but it's still very quiet. Don't ask me what I did, I took a break after being up for 24 hours and when I woke it was working.

The boards alone are more for DIY people who wish to purchase all the other stuff that’s needed on their own or have their own different set up. For you: But the required components not included: speakers, amp, sd cards, ground loop isolator (check my website) Then purchase from us: Essential kit Speaker support kit Then you mentioned you want the 28bargraph and 15 led powercell.
