Still it needs a smartphone to pair. If it's a standalone GPS navigation it maybe better. But considering the price of the product,you can buy a smartphone for only navigation purpose which provides you with Google maps,here maps, Waze, and many more.. So this is not a value for money product...

Anything which seeking the attention of rider is distraction even Maximus pro is also a distraction. When coming to the point of unwanted notifications you can put the device in DND or even block to app from notification access. So it's not a valid point. The only advantage I can see is the battery level indicator and locating stolen vehicle. But you can buy the same for around ₹3000.

agree! the sunlight readability and the dust and waterproof thing is an advantage but I do not agree with the unwanted notification gimmicks. Everything on which a rider has to glance during his normal riding is of course a distraction. If you think from a user perspective, they would want to keep purchasing minimum gadgets and 'run their use'.

Depends on our view buddy, even people spend 10k on purchasing helmets and 20k on jackets. You can even ride better if you purchase 1.5k helmets and 2k jackets. If you have the money to invest on the extra gadgets and you feel it adds value to your investment, then one must go for it. There are workarounds for everything.

So, other than crash detection and battery diagnostics, what is the purpose of the secondary module? Also, will I be able to see my diagnostic report from the module in the app, like how fast I was going, how bumpy the ride was, or how my turns were? I have a question bec. I faced a situation . I am from India & went for Nepal trip on my bike solo. I was not aware in Nepal JIO do not work . I had offline maps of Nepal in google map but the moment i entered Nepal my network gone & even offline map not worked so I was fully helpless . I than bought local sim & recharged to avail network facility . I am sure it is some thing happen in Ladakh too if you are travelling some off bit roads where population is also low . Sir since u give us so much info about our beloved Royal Enfield. I hv a concern which many of us hv in mind we look for answers bt find no such valid source. Sir i want to knw about which type of engine oil is suited for Royal Enfield. Mineral , semi synthetic or full synthetic? Also if the semi synthetic or full synthetic is more prone to oil evaporation. This is a big concern. Plus when should we top up our vehicles. And do we really need full synthetic or semi synthetic or mineral oil is just fine. And does mineral oil too evaporate after 1000 km and when shld it get a top up. Plus does a healthy engine still burn/consume some amount of engine oil ? Is dat normal to certain extant? And if yes wat would b judged as abnormal engine oil consumption? and all about Royal Enfield engine oil. Plz sir make a video on this. Many of r confused and many end up not able to care properly thus engine damages occurs. Thank u🙂

Unlike other GPS devices , MaximusPro does not draw power from the Bike's battery when the ignition is off. It goes into standby mode and wakes up only when there is a theft or any other event detected . When engine is on , then MaximusPro draws power from the alternator .

Is there a way to import maps to this device

Turn by turn directions are available in an offline manner for all planned rides. If you miss a turn then you will be directed back to the planned route through compass directions in offline mode. Data connectivity will be needed to send Biker to Biker alerts.

Your headset needs to be connected to your phone automatically you will get updates as the phone is actually using the maximus pro I used it that way cheers

The Display shows important information like Navigation, important alerts and lots more in a simple way. It is also specially designed to provide optimum readability under bright sunlight and can be used under rainfall etc . This provides a better riding experience compared to mounting your phone on the handlebar.
