Wireless CT sensors clip onto circuit-panel electric wires and measure the current flowing through the wire. Researchers from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) found that the technology was easy to install and is a good option for fault detection and diagnostics, though tracking low loads presented some challenges.
