Government’s $300 energy rebate an ‘admission of failure’ on all-renewables approach
Nationals Leader David Littleproud says the government announcing the $300 energy rebate through the federal budget is an “admission of failure” of the all-renewables approach it had been taking.
“If we help households and businesses have energy independence with solar panels rather than tearing up our environment then aren’t we using common sense in achieving an international goal and achieving it in a uniquely Australian way,” he told Sky News Australia.
“That’s the common sense that Peter Dutton and I want to bring.”

$300 power rebate is a spit in the face from these corrupt politicians.
And Who Get's the $300 Taxpayer Funded Rebate....The Power Companies !
It's over for labor , labor is done
Clearly “renewables” are not cheaper than coal or gas, and are not cheaper than nuclear either. And a one off $300 rebate isn’t the promise cut in prices Albo promised.
How about proving there is a climate crisis first.

THEY'VE HAD 50 YEARS TO SHOW THEIR "SETTLED" SCIENCE. STILL NO SIGN OF IT.
I wonder where they think the money will come from to pay the $300? They can only get it from our already high taxes. Don’t be fooled by the changes to the tax tables. The indirect taxes are obscene.
$300 fed electricity rebate plus QLD state $1000 rebate, so we can pay rebated renewal energy companies 🤔…. Must be elections soon
Ring-a-ring o' roses You pay my bill I pay your bill We both fall down
Failure for the coalition not to do something earlier. Failure in ensure their coal generators were maintained. Failure by the Noalition not to have an energy policy. Failure not to realistically budget renewal and non renewable sources. Thats the Coalitions position. Still to see a cost of nuclear.
Shouldnt every 1 who pays tax get it in the house wat a dog albo
