"Counterpart" is about a mysterious world hidden beneath the surface of our everyday existence. Howard Silk is a lowly cog in the bureaucratic machinery of a Berlin-based United Nations spy agency. When Howard discovers that his organization safeguards the secret of a crossing into a parallel dimension, he is thrust into a shadow world of intrigue, danger, and double-cross, in which the only man he can trust is his near-identical counterpart from this parallel world. The show explores themes of identity, fate, and lost love, posing the eternal question, "what if our lives could have been different?"

Yikes this sounds terrible, good thing I didn’t waste my time. Couldn’t even get past a recap. But I remember the watching first couple of episodes and thinking , wonder what’s going on. Apparently nothing , literally nothing is going on in this show
Bait and switch. Howard Silk was promoted as the star and focal point of the show but the show switched to being all about Emily and the other unlikeable women on the show.
The story is good, the production value is good, but I CANNOT stand your narrating voice AT ALL. The way you say things is like an exhausted news caster who has to cover one last story then they can quit. If it were the best story in the entire universe I could not sit through it if that tells you anything
