Shots fired! Phillips Hue is so overpriced, underwhelming and overhyped. Not the only ones Govee is shaming hard, but by far the biggest. Currently in the process of replacing all my old smart lighting and plain RGB lighting with Govee products. Looking forward to seeing your channel grow too, best of luck 👍

you can buy two of govee or one philips hue, but Philips one has a bit better looking colors i think

I bought these and are awesome. How can I make Alexa control them as a pair? I have them now as left and right tv lights. How can Alexa make them so it’s 1 instead of 2?

I know it's marketed as a floor lamp but would it be fine to put this on top of an end table?

At 1500 lumens it's midway between ambience light and lighting a whole room. Im torn about getting this because i wanna use it as an actual room light becuase i already have the LIFX Z strip behind my TV for ambience. My Ikea standing lamp is 1800lm so im not sure about this.

To expensive bit really cool! I found a set that do pra everything these do for less than half that so I have 3 at my workbench for that white light! 2 at the sode and one across the bottom of my display shelf facing the hobby bench! It's so bright no dark spots and great for filming videos!

I got two of these - one for Xmas and one for my birthday (close to and after Xmas). I ADDDDDOOOOOORE them, but I don't want them synced and I can't figure out how to add the second light as an independently controlled device? I saw somewhere, where they said to hit the + sign on the app, but I don't see a + sign anywhere? Any clues on this please?

This is my favorite channel! When I watch a Linus Tech Tips video and when I watch one of yours they're basically the same quality! You have the quality of a 10M+ YT channel, and he started years ago and you're kind of new, but yet you managed to get the same quality for your videos. You deserve much more.

Hey man. What is the voltage on the plug?

I synced them with my govee t2 camera lights. But when they change colors with the TV camera according to the TV they only change a solid color on the floor lamp. How do I get the floor lamp to change multiple colors along with the TV instead of just a solid color

Would you prefer having these on both sides of the tv - instead of the strip lights behind the TV? Seems like the advantage is these will light up this side of the room without needing to watch tv.

One remote should automatically work for both, just make sure they start on the same color. If they don't change the other to match in the app and you should be good to go. Hope this helps!

Can be had for under $100 USD right now. I picked up two myself and really like them. My only complaint... they need to provide integrated cable management in the base... ability to wind up the extra cord inside so we don't have to deal with the ugly extra.
