Govardhan Eco Village
Govardhan Eco Village (GEV), a project inspired by Radhanath Swami, illustrates 'Simple Living & High Thinking' -- a principle which is so succinct, yet profound, and formed the basis of life in the bygone age of wisdom. Life in the Vedic times was focused on service, and not on exploitation; this was the cardinal rule of living and the very essence of people's dealings -- with each other and that with Mother Nature. With the concepts of eco living being innate, the Vedic lifestyle was truly an eco friendly way of living life as instanced in the timeless Vedic scriptures like Srimad Bhagavatam and Bhagavad-Gita.

Brazilian ecovillage Piracanga actually make money, that it's afterwards used to people's welfare.

What if i want to come there for a week. Can i attend a retreat there and what will be the charges. A fantastic place and the the guru who idea got this place in shape. Do get back. Even if i have to do some work there will be fine.

I love everything about this except the fact I can't eat any grains, legumes or dairy.. (mainly paleo). The consequences are catastrophic for me.. poor digestion, bloating, cramps, inflammation, adrenal fatigue and much more. It seems most eco villages have a vegetarian based lifestyle which is totally fine if they feel healthy and happy but I've tried going VEG many times and I always become weak and sick. I love animals : / but what do you do when you can't eat grains, legumes, dairy and have tons of other food allergies?? Maybe I'd do better in a mediterranean eco village or Icelandic, new zealand eating mainly clean seafood?... Idk.. I only eat Chicken, fish, Lamb and lots of fruits and vegetables (NO COW). Anyhow, KUDOS to this place for setting such a great example and doing such good in this world..People will start resorting to this lifestyle more and more as it's ingrained in our DNA.

people's wefare and cooperation at large scale is an enemy of modern economics. Particularly the thinkers behind the modern economic model i.e bankers , politicians and the big businesses who want to usurp all the welath of the society so that people can be continuously kept working like donkies all their life to live under fear of their employees and scarcity [ fear of ] loosing their pay check for survival. All the people in big cities are cut off from nature , natural pace of living and any direct connection to natural resources required for survival and flourishing. And yet this is shown as progress of the so called modern man :(
is ECO VILLAGE only for SOPHISTICATED class / foreigners / HARE KRISHNA donars / HARE KRISHNA assistants or labors ? is normal hindi / marathi / gujrati etc speaking BHARATIYA allowed to visit ? (( though he will never be a potential donar / nor a promotinal medium )) or the FEES are meant to keep the so called CHEAP Crowd away

Kunal Kakaiya ...I had been at this place for 28 days...n this place has no cleanliness at all. The sofa,chairs, mats all are very very dirty. Cobwebs on the sofa,chair n much more. Food was very pungent. Staff not at all trained. The guy shyam at reception does not know his job n the G.M. Devendra Sharma is hopeless...cannot even speak proper English. Ants n flies on prasadam at Yamuna ghat. The only person who gave proper respect to all was Anant Raghav das n nimay leela prabhu

There is no harmony when there is animal exploitation (see the cows at the beginning of the video). Veganism is the key to bring harmony in our world.
Gandhi's idea of ideal village being created by foreign origin guys. What an irony and shame!
