This is so so good.. wow.. this hit me big time right after the first listening.. and now.. after the 7th or 8th listening.. it just sounds perfect.. what a brilliant blues song .. I may sip some more beer here and listen to it one more time.. then no more I swear ... just one more time :)

Loving the original Tom one of course... what's not to love in Tom Waits and his musicks ? This is just one incredible cover by some incredible musicians... as long as there is some new music like this this world is not totally lost and fucked up :)

Even my dog had his head bobbin and he's more of a jazz dog, great tune.

Warren and the Mule are American Treasures! Love this and can't wait to hear the whole album! ❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍

Very excited to see it played in less then a week! Warren always has some great special guest and seems to enjoy playing the TAB. Every song released so far is spot on.

Saw the Mule last Saturday night with Willie Nelson, Lucinda Williams and The Avett Brothers. Warren and the boys just blew us all away! They did such a beautiful job on this tune, damn near made me cry.

Absolutely pure genius! Just when you think you may be missing the original vocal "attack" of Tom Waits, you realize that the band has turned this into a complete differente beast, just by adding a new groove to it, but keeping the original "intent", Warren's vocals as soulful as ever ... and the keys add a whole new dimension to the song! THIS is what a cover version is all about!

Found this gem this evening on radio here in New Zealand called 95bfm whilst driving in the rain it felt good whilst driving in the rain 🌧 it has a nostalgic vibe to it, what a mad track I love it!

This song is very beautiful! Warren Haynes, I think, is the best guitarist of our time.

Really great interpretation of a solid tom waits song. If you don't know Tom, don't start with this song or the real gone record. Go back to the earl stuff like night hawks or ol' 55. Go in order of the albums and your love/appreciation of waits will grow with each record as the waits style evolves with each one. Waits is an american treasure. An artists artist.
