Wow. That's the best eulogy I've ever heard. Funny, sincere, and emotional. And giving of others. He didn't leave anyone out. That must be some family to be a part of.

BRAVO! Nicely done, what else could a father ask for from a son? Proud to be an Italian in moments such as these. Mario Cuomo was governor while I was in my late teens/early 20’s and there will never be anyone of his kind. So thankful that his son is our governor during these difficult times as we have no leadership in Washington! Keep up the good work Andrew Cuomo!!

He feels, as his father did that he would be abandoning the people he works so hard to represent. He’s not power hungry like most politicians. He does indeed deserve admiration. I listen to this man every day doing his daily briefing. He makes me feel calm and has a way about him that when you are jumpy or nervous about corona he is the calming voice you need. His eulogy was beautiful but I expected nothing Less from Andrew Cuomo. His father was not only a great governor but a good man and he follows in his father's footsteps. Only listening to this eulogy now and it was very moving. Mario Cuomo couldn't have asked for a better one. My family thought the world of him and now we feel the same about you, Andrew, especially today when leadership is lacking in Washington, DC. 13 granddaughters sounds like my family my brother had girls there were 4 until my son was born in 04 and the last boy born in my immediate family was my brother in1970. I have 4 boys and 1 girl. We irish and the italians are so similar. Rest in peace mr cuomo i.remember him from when i was growing up.in the 80s and 90s. Im second generation born in this country. My nana raised three babies in 1940s nyc after her husband mickey that she came here with died. They were in the basement of an apartment building she was the super. I see gov andrew and his brother chris give each other shit on the television and people get all worked up and think they hate each other they just dont understand the way family is.

Date at head of this is incorrect. Mario Cuomo died in January 2015 not 2013. Very impressive eulogy by his eldest son.

This absolutely breaks my heart as it brings to mind vivid memories and much grief over each of my beloved parents' passing. If we are lucky enough to have been blessed to care for our parents right until the end - that connection does not cease with their passing. They still inspire us from beyond this lower plane of existence. As we say in Greek 'Αιωνία η μνήμη σου' (May your memory be eternal) and I guess in Italian 'Eterna la vostra memoria Signore Mario.' 💖✝

Our church had a "priest" that removed the statues, removed the communion rail, banned the rosary being led before Mass and banned all songs to the Blessed Mother. Our diocese laughed at us that were upset. I am no longer Catholic or Christan, but I will never forgive the bishop and vicar general for what they allowed to happen. I will laugh at them when we meet eye to eye in hell.

If there is no heaven or hell then there is no final justice and Jesus did not rise from the dead. But the evidence for His resurrection is irrefutable and if there is no final justice then those who perpetrate great evils in this world and escape punishment have reason to feel justified in what they have done.

Jan J ah,ah,”Do what you will “. Will get you into Hell. ‘I have come to do The Father’s Will”, & we ain’t doing it. Check the loveless count, esp. abortion/euthanasia/ lack of love of neighbor. lots of this “stuff” began with pop culture. New spelling (thus, meaning) for love, we liked “luv” not sacrificial , Christ-like LOVE . Lennon’s “if Only” or whatever he opined in song. Jesus, we took our moral compass from Hollywood, song writers. God help us.
