#DontGoViral - Corona Tillé by Goumour Ezza
As part of the #DontGoViral campaign launched by UNESCO in partnership with the Innovation for Policy Foundation (i4Policy), Goumour wrote, composed, and produced a song titled “Corona Tillé '' in Tamachek, a local language in Niger. Along with four other local artists, they performed a song to raise awareness on the existence of COVID 19, as well as on barrier measures to be applied to avoid the spread of the virus in Africa in general, and in Niger in particular.
The #DontGoViral campaign is an online campaign to crowdsource local openly licensed content to inform communities across Africa about COVID-19. All submissions to #DontGoViral will adhere to a Creative Commons license and will be released to the public so they can be remixed, adapted, translated, and disseminated. Participants will also be requested to ensure that all themes and guidelines expressed conform with official health agency and WHO recommendations.
