I sure am glad I got my calves sold last week. Hopefully the market improves by June when the next set goes.

This market is bleeding here in Kentucky also. I'm just glad I don't have to sell any calves till April.

@patrickmcrae4403 Ben selling calves in April for thirty years and it's usually the highest time. Buyers want calves to go on grass.

The March and april board is still sitting pretty. I wouldn't go as far as saying it will be the low... but only time will tell.

@joplinstockyards Calves are usually highest in April . Wanting calves to turn out on grass. My experience selling calves for thirty years. Calf numbers really support that this year.

I’ll take price speculation over margin any day, just pass the buck on to the next guy hot potato that’s my business strategy 👍

We are still higher than this same time a year ago... Just because its lower, doesnt mean its at the bottom...

@Jiggsdyer6040 Everyday, The US consumer needs their beef, and the feedyards always want those april fats. Keep the optimism. Spring will be here before you know it.

@Karencox3944 , We appreciate your business and trust in us! The prices are still high even if the market is down, Don't get discouraged, We are still much much higher than we were this time a year ago! If you can hold them the spring looks like it will be good!

Where is our beef council ? They take every time that animal is sold see how those millions would be temp suspended
