Possibly the best goal of the playoffs so far. And that's not just any defenseman he toedrags around, that's Heiskanen. Such an effortless backhander too, he's unreal.

I feel like this is going to be one of those goals I will remember forever.

I'm a recent hockey convert in the Tampa Bay area, and up until last year, as a dedicated Lightning fan, didn't pay much attention to other players on other teams. Then I saw Connor McDavid. I love my Lightning, Kucherov, Stamkos, Vasilevskiy, and others, and I'm still devoted to them, but no one wows me the way McDavid does. This play epitomizes why. Un-freekin-believable!!!

C'mon, let's get a better title than that. How about "Connor McDavid Scores An Unbelievable Jaw-Dropping Goal For the Ages" or something. That goal was insane

I have never really payed attention to the NHL, but my friends from Edmonton were really excited about their team going to the Stanley Cup finals. I decided to look up highlights from the Oilers last game. As a fan of sports in general, this is honestly one of the most amazing plays I've seen. I know so little about hockey compared to other sports, but this play alone already made me a fan of McDavid and the sport. The amount of athleticism, coordination, and skill McDavid unleashed was truly amazing.

Just insane, a goal only Mcdavid could score. How can you even defend that?

The pk unit was in good position and there was no room to navigate through in the eyes of a vast majority of players or audience. Honestly, based on his reaction after the goal, I think Connor impressed himself with move.😂😂

Dallas is a hell of a team and they killed many penalties off this series, it's just hard to stop that kind of raw talent(powerplay) for a whole series. Panthers are going to be a tough team for oil to beat. I was hoping for NY.

The thing that sets McDavid apart from the rest is his ability to create plays and goals out of seemingly impossible situations. This is not a fluke, this is not a once in a lifetime goal. McDavid has been doing these ridiculous plays since he started playing hockey. He is also in his prime, he can and will get more legendary goals like this. It's been a pleasure watching him play his entire career.

@@doodlebob2023 I never played ice hockey I was surpried at how big McDavid (6' 1" and 194 lbs) and Draisaitl (6' 2" and 205 lbs) were. McDavid is a lot stronger than people think. They were talking abou how the Panthers won't be able to just push the Oilers around. They aren't considered a small team.

McDavid wrote his name on the ice with his skates to score this impossible goal! 😳

And to think Leafs fans try to compare Matthews to McDavid. Matthews can't even dream up a goal like that.
