I think it was him who called Samuel Girard couples games ago.Leving right point skating fast to the middle and scoring using a screen.The announcer was in awe

Right now, he’s the best player in the NHL. Not saying he’ll stay that way or his stats are the best. But his game is at a higher level, more consistently than anyone else touching ice.

Watching Fox play and Makar play is mind bending. Fox creates plays with his skills, and Makar MAKEs plays with his skills. Makar is so fast and skilled. I bought my son a Fox jersey for xmas, will likely need to hedge that investment with a Makar jersey.

Kid is absolute magic on the ice! #1 Defenseman period.

I was at the game where he made his NHL debut in the playoffs. He scored on his first shot. I knew this guy was good, I didn't know he was THIS good. If he stays healthy I firmly believe he will be in the HOF someday.

Incredible goal. Watching it live was pretty cool.

Watching this at quarter speed its even more impressive. Makar gets about 3.5 strides towards the net while Dach's still fighting his own momentum. By the time he starts his pursuit it's a footrace anymore. That's what elite skating can do. Not to say Dach isn't a good skater himself, but it's moments like these that showcase what probably less than 5 humans on earth could accomplish.

Guess what Avs player is going to NHL All-Star event. Makar is amazing, hopefully Dach feels better soon. Jones and Fleury forgot about Cale.. Who is the coach for the Blackhawks, he needed to do his homework. The Avs put Makar and MacKinnon on the ice at the same time ...oh boy!!!

Had to look back now the Ave's are in the finals. More magic Cale and Nate bring that cup back to Denver. Go Ave's!!! Three more wins

As an Avs fan I definitely concur that Makar is the better player, but Hughes has also been sensational this year. If the Canucks can get better (still not certain how sustainable the early Boudreau success is), Hughes will definitely be in Norris contention.
