Thank you for this video. I am looking to disassemble and repair the same type of battery from my GoTrax GXL V2. Your video certainly has confirmed for me the process of replacing dead cells. Much appreciated!

did you do any replacement to the old pack ? what is the result ?
would be nice to see more of the re-assembly- that part was totally passed over
That's axactly what I needed, I have a Soflow so1, it uses exactly the same battery, but it's 5,2AH. Thanks again now I know where to start. Stay healthy! Greetings from Germany

Check that discharge rate to be enough ... I had another one and used weaker batteries and it was shaking on start.
I have a battery just like that that stopped taking charge and upon disassembly have discovered corrosion on the spot welded terminals in the center section of the battery pack. It eh corrosion from the leaky electrolyte?
Hey thanks for the video! I'm looking to upgrade my friend's scooter to use higher quality cells than gotrax did. Do you know what the capacity and discharge rate of the stock cells were? I'm thinking of LG HG2 with the 30C rating, but wondering if it's overkill? Also, from your video I counted 24 cells total?
@RomaFixcom

I installed 2x5c parallel and when I was driving I feel that not enough but 30C I think would be to much. You need it only on start after consumption decreases.

what is the reason to lead you opening the battery pack? Low voltage or quick drain of battery?

Hi do you think I can use a 36v battery for this scooter since my old one said 25.2v. Do you think it will burn my controller if I use the 36v for the replacement battery?

I already changed my scooter but by the plan I was thinking to attach external 24V battery and use xt60 connector close to charging port.
pero q tipo de baterias tengo q buscar para q de 36V y 5,2 mah q voltaje lleba cada una y cuantos mah ???
If you still have this scooter (or a charger): would you be so kind as to let me know what the connector is? I thought it was a failry standard 5.5 OD by 2.1 ID, but it doesn't seem to fit. My caliper says OD 4.5 but there is always some measurement error there. I cannot find a connector that will work :( My scooter has the same overall shape but the battery is only 24V, the motor on the wheel says 250W.
10 batteries in series will give you 36V power. It's so simple to keep the orientation of the batteries right. It looks difficult to copy the processes from the factory. Battery length is critical.

Hey i’m really glad you made this video I was wondering how these batteries were configured. Is this the 24 V or 36 V
I haven’t rode or charged my GT tracks V2 in over a year. I take it out of the shed charged it up and it’s not moving. Does it need a new battery even if the battery lifespan was fine?

does the charger shows that it is charging or doesn't detect the battery at all?
can you in theory replace all the cell and increase the range?
Hi buddy. what voltage do you get from the battery connector? all cells connected getting 37V from battery terminals. connect the charging board (board at the top of the battery unit) I only get 14V + and -????

@@RomaFixcom it's gotta be, I think is a chip on bms. Once power removed chip dies, I had similar problem with my dji mavic drone battery. It's OK to have lower voltage as long as there is one to keep the chip alive. Got new battery today and power is 39V from factory connection.
