I bought a $2 cheap plastic floral tray from Dollar Tree and gave it a new paint job to make it look like old pewter. It was an awful fake gold colour when I bought it. Now it looks like real metal! The funny thing is, when I watched the video and saw the floral tray, I realized that it's the same one just with a better paint job and a flower picture in the middle. The SAME one though! They used the exact SAME mould as the dollar store. Michael's is peddling something that literally costs under $2 but charging $25! Boo! That being said though, I can get behind some dark aesthetic academia decor as long as there's no pink or shiny yellow gold, and I'm happy to see this happening. Fun video, thank you.
