I TOTALLY AGREE!

Every night I cant sleep I am listening this and trying to walk on Island of Khorinis. I wish I could be good in writing books and share this stories for my friends and for my children so it wont be forgotten. (Rip my English). This game gave my mind second world I live in - running away there always I need it. At least I can play Dungeon and Dragons with my group to share some of my feelings. I am 27 year old but everytime I hear this music I am 12 year old again walking from the Xardass tower and my only problems are how to get cross the guards nearby the gate...

I feel very same. This game has left good memories on some part of my life. Sure, The music made it unforgotten. Gothic was superb game.

Alot of sleepless nights in this game, and it was worth it every minute

For the last 15 years I have been wondering why I love the nostalgia so much, which the sound of this game brings back to me ... Why is this game so emotionally stuck in my memory? Sometimes I thought it was a matter of plot, sometimes it was a matter of the game world, thanks to which something was happening everywhere, sometimes it was the excitement of not being able to die because my computer was loading the save for 20 minutes, or maybe it was because this game helped for me to calm down after the toe treatment, when I felt terrible pain ... Today I probably understood what it really is! Pay attention to who the nameless person was. He was abandoned, without family, alone in the wild. Must have survived ... Does it remind you of something? We listen to this because this game is an allegory of our childhood. We, who love to listen to the sounds of "Gothic 1 & 2", had a similar childhood. Sick childhood. And this game helped us like no other to escape from what was happening at home. Just take a look at all coments for Gothic soundtrack ... I feel we all have similar story.

I seen that Gothic series is so loved from Eastern-Central Europe and Russia. I think our climate (cloudy) make this feeling too!

@@DaimonF1, всегда сижу за столиком у печи в мертвой гарпии и ем, когда останавливаюсь в ней. Одна проблема - в игре нельзя есть сидя, приходится вставать и выбиваться из атмосферы, чтобы пожевать похлебки с окороком и закусить бутером с колбасой и сыром, после чего запить всё это дело пивом. Мож есть мод какой?

Oh God, this hits hard! I lived most of mid-00s in this game. Literally lived in it. I love it so much although I haven't played it for so long. This music will live in my soul forever. Like the music from Silent Hill and all those great games from the past.

I remember that a few years after having finished the game, I installed it again just to listen to the soundtrack and run around the nature, enjoying the views and this unforgettable vibe. Thank you for this 1 hour long version of the soundtrack. It's just what I needed.

I remember when I was a kid I was 12 finished gothic 1 for the first time that was in 2005 Feb( still remember to this day ). Then a friend of mine said he had gothic 2 I was crazy when heard it he had it and he gave it to me installed it and again I was blown away by everything. I was sad when I saw what happened to the colony, the old camp the new and the sect was just gone...

I feel we all had a similar experience. Thats so cool. I was around the same age when I found Gothic 2 in my small hometown libary. You could borrow some games there just like books. I got sucked in immediately. Gothic 1 came after Gothic 2 for me. :D

I remember when i started the G2 after a years. Damm this soundtrack gave me a chills.

Does anyone know how to make screenshots in Gothic2(without the Copy+Paste into Paint thingy). Something in settings or .ini file to enable Print Screen which would automatically save the screenshots into Gothic 2 directory or something?

Thank you very much. I just did what i wanted myself and knew that others wants too so i made it and waited for anyone to get. Damn, I love Gothic (especially the Night of the Raven), I've played it like 10 times, now I had like a year pause, so I can enjoy the game more, but I can't wait to get back to Khorinis and Jarkendar.

If i can/could decide, then this is the music i want in my funeral. Best game music ever composed. For one of the best games ever created.

At the time of buying this game my English was very limited, and all I could see were the graphics, which at the time I thought looked very bad. A few years later I gave it another chance. My English has improved considerably, and it didn't take long for me to fall in love with Gothic 2. To this day it is one of my favourite games and I remember immersing myself in it's world fondly.
