I think this is quite the bare minimum for a group that is about to turn 5 years old. We know that GOT7 aren't as popular in South Korea as compared to some of the other artists but that doesn't take away from the fact that they are so popular worldwide. There were a lot of fans (myself included) waiting to see GOT7 appear on the screen during the award show but we only really got 2-3 shots. Once again, I am disappointed by how eagerly mnet posts about got7 on their sns' but then refuses to give them a decent amount of attention during the actual award show. GOT7 could also very well have won awards like best male dance group etc. but they don't, because they're got7 and it's just better to hand them some sort of a popularity award every year (Though other noms who won deserved it too). At least GOT7 had a better performance this year but with the lack of SM & YG artists, I thought perhaps GOT7 would finally get a bit more of a spotlight, but mnet forgets all their previous ties and chooses to focus on the 2-3 groups that'll bring them the most views :/ Anyways, GOT7 did a fantastic job and I'm proud of who they are.

Out of all the years GOT7 has been active, 2018 was the year our boys REALLY WORKED THEIR ASSES OFF. 3 comebacks, 4 if you include Miracle. A World Tour. Making their own history being the first boy group to perform at the Barclay Center, almost if not selling out along with other US success. Breaking their OWN records with each comeback. Jackson being one of top solo artist in China, specifically HONG KONG at that. All of that for the Fans Choice Top Ten & Tik Tok Most Popular Award.. securing only 2 little awards from MAMA, for a WHOLE YEAR'S WORTH of hard work. -- I'm happy that they won SOMETHING, BUT it's still frustrating to see our boys pour their sweats, & tears this year for little shitty awards. Along with basically barely any on screen time during these award shows. Like I don't expect GOT7 to win Artist of the year, but can we get 1 daesang award at least? Smh. GOT7 deserves so much better than this. I feel like after this year's treatment, JYPE definitely needs to join the boycott. MNET basically slapped JYPE artists in the face.

I only watched this award show for Got7. I was literally shocked that they were over looked in so many categories. WTF happened? Why did they receive so little air time? By the way, who is WannaOne? I am from the USA and Got7 along with my Jackson Wang is loved in America. It still hurts and I feel like crying seeing the clip here again. They did so well the whole year, having a successful world tour, all-kill in award shows, all comebacks receive awards, top album sales chart, top itunes chart, deliver so many amazing stages and funny variety shows, even winning mnet polls for many months, but still being treated like that.... so heart broken. I admire the hard work of everyone, however I found it very unfair. Honestly, Got7 is one of the most perfect groups I know. The vocal is very good, it is unquestionable how its performace is amazing, they deserve more. I hope that in the future these awards will be fairer and more respectable. If we look at the sky, it is very large, yet all Stars can shine. Please let other groups shine too.🙌

The foreign rappers of GOT7....WOW!!! They really took the house down. The instrumental opening of Nightmare and Jackson's deep, husky voice effects at the beginning already won me over, and when the boys started rapping, I went nuts!!!

I hope they hold MAMA in Thailand too, and then we’ll see if they get the recognition and fair treatment they deserve.

While GOT7 have given us exceptional performance, they are still given nothing. It doesn't cost a lot to give got7 to give the respect they deserve. go ahead, give them only a freaking app award but don't treat them less of a rookie group. I honestly don't understand why they are CONTINUOUSLY treated the way they are. for years, got7 has only minuscule amount of respect, the bare minimum. It's unfair how they have worked so damn hard only to get this kind of treatment. The ugly treatment and disrespect they get is something any and every artist should not experience. Their talent, skills, and personality are taken for granted. As an ahgase, I've always tried to be patient and to understand, to be hopeful that better things will happen for them and they do but I have come to a breaking point, I'm utterly broken how people don't give them a chance and get shit. To our boys, thank you for putting up with everything. I will always be proud of GOT7. It's not you, it's not us, it's the fact that others won't allow you to.

Got 7 is deserved the world award for their efforts to produce new taste music.

When are you going to recognize GOT7 pure talents?

I want to give a BIG THUMB DOWN TO MAMA, for the way they treated GOT7. Using them bc of Jackson popularity in Hong Kong, and for another outstanding live performance, but giving them a pity award, when they deserved Best Male Group. A real group of 7 friends who've been working and creating together for 5 years, did two world tours, and don't try to copy others but are true to themselves. A real group, not a marketing product with an expiration date... MAMA gives awards to groups who don't even sing live, it's a shame (I'm not talking about BTS, who sang live like always. They are true artists like GOT7).

lets just appreciate our boys , i dont care with the mama anymore as long as we support them from physicals , digitals , got7 items, voting , concerts and fan meetings all over the world ..

Honestly the screen time for them isn’t enough, they deserve better. Their stages never disappoint since debut, I still don’t understand. However, I really hope people will recognize them more, we’ll do our best for you my babies. 🙏🏻💚 Better things are coming this year!

If you focus on 2 or 3 kpop groups... You won't see the others that is as talented and I think Got7 is more talented than the groups you were focusing

All the groups worked hard and are talented. Got7 needs as much recognition as the bigger groups

I can't believe I watched a whole show of 5 hours, just for 7 minutes of performance and some other minutes and a mf TIK TOK they weren't even nominated for, as JB said they were surprised... this award show is too focused only on one groups, I think it will be better for GOT7 to skip MAMA NEXT YEAR THEY DESERVE BEST MALE GROUP AT LEAST, THEY ARE GLOBALLY POPULAR >>>>>>

Yeahh. Me too. I'm shocked when they got that award because in the voting period we can predict who's gonna win that award. I am so sad for our boys. GOT7 always the winner in my heart. I gonna go and watch miracle to heal my heart.

YES! THEY DESERVED AT LEAST 1 FROM THOSE 3 MAIN CATEGORIES, WHICH THEY'VE GOT ON TOP 3 FOR EACH. I thought they would get at least "BEST DANCE MALE GROUP" since their dance choreo is really complex and great. I'm still mad... Really..

I agree, it's unfair that GOT7 wasn't treated right, but some aghases are taking it too far. They are comparing groups, and saying that GOT7 Should have won ____ instead of _____. All groups work hard, we don't want to be lie Mama and overlook them too.

MAMA treating our boys like shit but our boys still slay their performance because they want to give AHGASEs the best. 💚

Why does got7 only have 12 minutes of screen time??? While bts has like 30??? I’m happy for bts, but they really need to stop treating got7 like a rookie group. They’re almost five years old. They are too talented and hardworking to be treated like this. Like seriously, they deserve better. We already been knew that mama and money is trash, but it sucks bc we still gotta support our group no matter what.

They should deserve for "The World Performer" "Love by The World Beyond Asia" in every year, not a creepy award like this :(

Yay!! A ballad version of Lullaby. Amazing Yugeom dancing and Rapper International Line. They are rapping in English. And Jackson rap in English and Cantonese. And that dark version of Lullaby is so cool. That rude and illegal dance break.

GOT7 deserve so much more than what they were given. This stage was AMAZING, but it could’ve been so much more. I’m so proud of them, so instead of being negative, it’s our blessing and Mnet’s loss💚

This truly is all time legend.

Let’s tell JYPE stop sending their artist to Korean award shows anymore, they deserve more than this

@Roseanne Park actually no, stray kids participated in Korea and Japan! they released videos for artists that were at Japan a day after... If you see in the mnet channel the videos uploaded you will notice "surprise!" no stray kids compilation video... I thought it was because they were rookies but then noticed there is a compilation of mama Japan for Iz*one so :((( I'm not bashing - at all. It's just that it saddens me, the favouritism you know? What can I do, more than to complain about it.
