This Vlog is sum up of all our joy rides which we had with our Pyari(loving) Hyundai i10 and moving on to the next chapter of our travel life with NEW THAR 2022, NANDI (as we named it).

We had bought a 9 year old i10, which was in great condition, 4 years back for our basic needs when we just wanted a car for city. Though it was a pre owned car, it was and will be always special for us. Pehli Gaadi, toh sabke liye special hoti hi hai. Back then we were avid bikers/ riders. We have an Avanger and a Bullet, Dessert Storm. Our love for roads were always there.
Once we got i10, we started with small trips nearby Pune and the kms kept increasing with every new road trip. This car also hold special place because, not only we have so many memories with it but it took us on so many trips without any breakdown and it was our constant companion for our Travel Vlogs. Our first travel vlog was also in our i10. It gave us confidence of doing road trips and made it our passion. We never knew that we would love our drives so much.
Then, Why we sold it after all you ask ??
Three Major Reasons:
1. Its RC is getting expired soon, and we would have to change it anyways .
2. We covered 880 kms in a day with it, but now we are looking to cover more than 1000 kms a day and we were not very sure if we should push our old i10's limits, or what about difficult terrains.
3. Sumit is 6.1 ft in height and for him its a very small car, so driving long distances in i10 was hectic for him.
* Once we were sure that we want to do more and longer road trips and need a change, our search for new car started and we planned and watched innumerable car vlogs on KZread in past 1 year, to find out what we should look for and which car suits our needs best.
* In past one year, from a person who hate technical or Auto vlogs, now i am one who is well versed about diff. models, variants, features, prices etc. All thanks to Sumit and KZread.
* Coming back to this episode, After long search, discussions and test drives, we selected Thar for our final Purchase. We had many other cars on our mind too. But what were those ? Why we got Thar ?
These questions and many more we will cover in a separate vlog where we will talk about it.
* We were happy and excited for the delivery of Thar and counting days of waiting period but we never thought that selling i10 would be difficult for us, till the day we shot this Vlog and it was its final drive with us.
* More challenging than that was editing this vlog episode, for which i had searched and been through with all our old content (pics, trip clips, places and videos). It was like looking back in time and reliving all memories again. Nostalgic ! With each edited clip my eyes got watery.
So, this vlog is not just another life vlog or a car delivery vlog but a piece of our very intimate memories(Dil se) with our First Car and delivery of our NEW Thar 2022. Its a sentimental ride down our memories with i10 and a joy ride and thrill of getting a NEW CAR, which we are happy to share with you.
