Your chat about being grateful was 🙌🏻 it can be easy to get caught up in the frustrations of life and get down on your luck. I have been out of school for 2 years and still do not have a job in my field of choice. BUT I got to a point this year where I had had enough of pitying myself. I now choose to look at what I do have: a full time job(although not what I went to school for), the ability to buy healthy groceries, shop a little when I want. And i'm so grateful. Life is a lot better when looked at this way 💕

I've been looking for a job out of grad school for speech pathology since May and finally got a job offer tonight!! So I know exactly how you are feeling, congrats!

You’re talking about money lol. I just graduated PA school. I did have 5 years of working between college and grad school because we have to get direct patient care to apply to PA school. Anyways i just graduated in August, took out loans for school. I have about 8k left of my loan money so I have to get a job soon. But I’m also nervous and exhausted so I’m kindof resting. But I also need health insurance Becsuse I have crohns and my infusions is like 14k every 8 weeks without insurance. Long story short.. I’ll be making the most money I ever have before soon. But I also plan on paying off my 55k loans in the first year. Then start planning my wedding (got engaged in 2018). Then hopefully buy a house. Just can’t wait to not stress. Also my dad passed away in May and he was the main money maker for my family (about 50k a year) so now my mom is trying to survive on minimum wage so I also want to be able to help her.

I’m not rich by any means but that’s just not a place that holds financial burden for me 🙏🏽
