the song would be okay-ish without 2Ds vocals, but it desperately needs percussion. I’ll never take the drums for granted, they add the needed taste to songs. Same with the bass guitar, it adds so much depth to the music.

I imagine the first few seconds of just murdoc and noodle at the studio awkwardly looking at each other, waiting for 2d and Russell to arrive, shrugging and then just starting to play

The way Murdoc’s low and heavy bass part contrasts Noodle’s high and free flowing guitar part. Every note Murdoc plays feels like a punch in the stomach but Noodle feels much lighter and more pointed

That's some wonderfully played loose wonky guitar part. It ain't easy to be this slidey yet still so musical. The buzzy tone with the mild distortion makes me think of an acoustic guitar with one element haphazardly plunked in the sound hole. Delish!

I never really noticed how good the guitar is until right now. It feels soft and light but dark at the same time. It really shows that Feel good inc is just a great song all around, each part coming together to form something that’s better then the already amazing sum of its whole.

damn the electric guitar is absolutly genius never appreciated it but that deliberate sloppiness is so cool ... these ideas are what make damon such a genius songwriter its the simple things

Now I need one with just Murdoc.

As someone that plays both guitar and bass, honestly this was just enjoyable to listen to. Especially the chorus with Noodle’s guitar playing.

I knew it before, but even more so now, I realize that electric guitar part is doing some strange, magical things in the song that aren't super obvious. It's disjointed, imperfect, AND perfect in the most beautiful way.
