The Congo Gorilla Forest was absolutely packed. I'm not sure if larger crowds tend to agitate the gorillas, but one reared up and jumped at the glass twice, which, as you can imagine, sent shockwaves of tension and excitement through the entire building.
After a quick interlude featuring the world's smallest primate, the pygmy marmoset - exhibited here specifically to show the difference between it and the world's largest primate, the gorilla - we jump right back to the gorillas! The youngsters were extremely active on this day, and their antics attracted an enormous crowd that was terrifying to try and navigate through, haha.
