That's okay! I have lots of followers who don't have chalk couture but find another way to recreate the projects. Some use their cricuts, others create a picture on their computers and do the trace and paint method!

Great idea with the Halloween mesh, I would never have thought to use it this was. Love all of these Liz, thanks for the inspiration.

Hi Liz! I love everything you do. I have a question. If using a stencil, screen or plain, is it best to use the surface wax if you are using acrylic or chalk paint? Or is that just for chalk PASTE? Thank you!

I usually only use the surface wax if I'm doing the transfers with chalk paste. I've never tried it when using a regular stencil, but now I'm curious if that would help with bleeding too! When I use a regular stencil, I can do up and down dabbing motions which helps with things not bleeding, since you can't do that with transfers, I think that promotes bleeding more. And I've never tried anything but chalk paste with my transfers. Hopefully that helped in some way lol
