Anyone remember xtra vision being there? I miss old Gorey :(

In the 60s I used to stay with friends who had a stone cottage on Tara Hill. Gorey was the nearby town. I’ve never been back. I was excited to see this filmlet offered. I watched it. I was sad, disappointed to find I remembered nothing. I wonder, though if the filming had been done in the 60s…? I don’t suppose the trees lining the streets were even planted then. Sorry to bore you with my rather so-what comment…

My paternal grandfather's line came from Gorey. We visited once when I was a kid. I'd like to sail across the North Atlantic and work for a while in Dublin, and spend some real time there.

20 now , how is life treating you young man. I grew up about a mile out of Gorey.

I'm 12 and I've lived in Gorey for 10 years and trust me, in 2012 Gorey was different. Wreckless skate shop was there , dealz was there that white building with the billboard is now red, sweet moments was there. none of this stuff is here in this video. If anyone reads this and you live in Gorey , do you remember shadow the dog from the house on the corner opposite shell fuel? Yeah well the man that always works in the garden with shadow is my granddad. His daughter was my mum but sadly she passed away in 2011. Shadow passed away this year in 2015. Shadow was a very old dog and he was 13 years old in dog years! That is a long time for a dog to live. Every one in Gorey knew shadow and many people are very sad now that shadow has passed on. Now if you are a hater reading this and think I'm lying go and ask that man and say do you know Karl Nordstrom? He will say yes. I promise you. But anyway thank you for the video it was a nice reminder of Gorey.

I live here but you forgot a huge part and yes it was there in 2012 actually way before 2012 it was there. If you've been gone for 2 years or so, there's a new tesco. Not saying anything more or I'll probably get murdered.
