Fun Fact: Captive is a reference to when Lyman was retconned from the show, it was a joke among the writers and from Jim Davis himself that you "shouldn't look in Jon's basement!" It suggests that instead of Lyman leaving for his dreams of being an Olympic figure skater, he's locked in Jon's basement.

Its a reference to the flashgame which you can see Lyman chained in before he disappears, though it also probably just derives from what you said as well. Though it uses the flashgame artstyle here.

Fun fact: The Sansfield week is based off a really good fangame made by Lumpytouch (Someone whos very in touch with the gorefield fandom) The second and third song inside of the Sansfield week are heavily based off of the actual ost which is amazing. Mondaymania is the second song You're are gonna have a bad monday is the third. I recommend checking out the original.

You should play Bad Monday Simulator, it shows the context of the Sansfield week (and if you're incredibly lucky, Godfield's most notable appearance), not to mention it's an incredibly good fangame to begin with. It's made by Lumpy Touch 39:43 Also this is referencing the "All this for a dog, Jon?" image, if you google that it's probably the first image result

It is! The art style and the Scare-O-Meter are from that flash game. I dont know about the whole Jon being crazy thing, since he's just outside of the house scared in the original flash game.

just incase if you don't know about GODfield the foe in Cataclysm he came from Lumpytouch much like how the Main week was based off his animations as well mainly GODfield originated from the series "Gorefield Horrorscope" a special twist on the whole Gorefield, where in every universe, there is a Jon and a Garfield, most are Gorefields and in this universe YOU are JON as you live in one of the Zodiac Universes, and Gorefield is after you, their appearance is different based upon your Zodiac, GODfield represents the 13th Zodiac, Ophiuchus whom he started out as Garf, a stray cat who never found Jon, thus never met Odie or the rest, and was just trying to get by, until he mutated, despite this, Garf never wanted to hurt, he kept to himself and ate what was needed, but he was soon discovered, and people didn't want a monster, no matter HOW gentle it was and gunned him down and left him to die, but the earth swallowed him and he began to change, from this, he decided to send his "Eyes" out to see just how cruel the planet was, afterwards he was convinced, he has to destroy it, and he did and from it created a brand new world, note the forms between the planet's destruction and afterwards is different, as afterwards he was GODfield, and the scariest bit is, what you see of him, Isn't even his true form, one extra thing in Bad Monday Simulator the fan game that the Sansfield week is based off of, Nermal can Pray, and there is a very small chance for GODfield to appear and help you out, another thing is that the gameover screen for Cataclysm whos Nermal's head shake and shift between Nermal and Boyfriend and it gets faster until it gets impaled on a Cross, also the GODfield's Line "Layer on layer. Your demons, will haunt you!" sense you face against 3 different foes so it'd make sense as they aren't just Nermal's nor Boyfriend's Demons, but yours in a way, so I hope this helped

Well now I wanna see him play Bad Monday Simulator so he can embrace Sans/Ultrafield in a fight

to explain what in the world is going on with the one with evil jon, the dude whos tied up is actually odies(the dog) old owner, he used to be a prominent character in the garfied comics, but suddenly vanished, and odie suddenly became jon's pet. basically a retcon. a really...really weird one. the refrence is to a flash game, where garfield is taken on a scavenger hunt or something, and the finale has him spot odies old owner tied up, and yeah, you get the rest.

In case you didn't get it, the catnip song is a reference to another series by lumpy touch about Breaking Bad where Walter turns into a monster by drinking a special potion, and in one episode he goes to harass Jesse who is fortunately saved by Gustavo towards the end.

Glad to see you play it finally Connor! The 2 year wait was 100% worth it for the mod. Seems a lot more mods have way higher quality the longer it takes.

By the way, Connor, there is an actual fangame where you fight sansfield. Just so you know. It was made by lumpy touch. I'd enjoy seeing you play it.

For context on Take me, apparently, the deal is that Jon is going out on a date and Garf wants to go because it to an italian restaurant, aka Lasagna central. You should def play Bad Monday Simulator! Its what the Sansfield/Ultrasansfield week is based on, amazing fangame with an amazing OST!

The only complaint I have with this mod would be the code mechanic, well moreso the presentation of it, since the mod uses changing variables that make the code unreliable, while it makes the gameplay more unique by not allowing you to look up a wiki, there's also a chance (like what was seen in the video) that it could frustrate the player by either being too complex or being wrong, also by having a single song being locked behind it. The mechanic itself added a note system, a conversation attuned with a visual novel, and a hunt for the information, it should of had a guarenteed answer and a more prominent role, since it adds a lot to the game.

The Ultra Week is based on a few drawings by Omega Black after Gorefield had originally been created, which depicted a sort of dystopian wastelandic future where Gorefield destroys everything, almost as a sort of continuation of the original Gorefield where he succeeds and only a couple dozen humans survive, including Jon. Omega’s style became very iconic and a lot of people took inspiration from his drawings for their own interpretations of Gorefield, cementing the monochromatic eldritch horror styled Gorefield among his many iterations.

The ultra sans reference actually originally roots from Bad monday simulator, the game that the sansfield week is based off of, wich is Another work of LumpyTouch. Godfield is also from bad mnoday simulator, found with *INSANE LUCK* and the pray button.

If I'm correct the monochrome cat with a golden Halo is Godfield, one of the many creations from the deranged mind of lumpy touch, a very very talented Sprite animator for video games and such, their yt shorts are the stuff of wonder and disgusting abomination. Not to mention they also made a Garfield undertale fan game, or bad Monday simulator as it's called. If you haven't played I urge you to, it's quite fun.

I'm pretty sure Catnip is a reference to another LumpyTouch animation series. Sort of a successor/stylistic follow-up to Garfield Gameboy'd but with Breaking Bad instead of Garfield.

I think the reason you struggled on the clown code is because you choose the wrong song for high score as it’s usually BIGotes just because of how long it is (the Lyman super saiyan one) and the fact that you didn’t know Captive existed yet which count for the songs that start with C minus M part

hello Connor can you check out a mod called voiid chronicles? it's a matt remix mod but trust me while this mod does keep the insanity(hard chart and mechanics)of the original matt, the art style and music in this mod is on a whole new level, not to mention that the camera movement and modchart looks cool as heck. I will say it's definitely worth playing!

Late but Captive song is mostly based on the flash game Garfield's Scary Scavenger hunt. (they made 2 games) Basically in the game you need to find different goodies in the haunted house to win, the scare-o-meter will go up or down when things happen and if it gets full you lose and go back to start, you can find both Lyman and Jon in the first game tho Jon just gives hints and is normal unlike in the mod.... You can still play the game if you dont belive what im saying.

I would say skill issue for the lol's on you figuring out that code thing but wow, that looks like it needs alot of brain power to solve low key, i'd def would have a hard time figuring it out lmao

Cataclysm would be just 10 times better if it made you fight every gorefield you’ve battled at that point Also the song did in fact have a reason to go hard, ur literally fighting GOD

And as for God-field, it's reference actually is to the Lumpy Touch Gorefield Horoscope. With each sign of the Horoscope having a Gorefield creature associated to it hunting a "Jon" who was born that sign. With the climax of that series showing the Ophiuchus Gorefield. A regular stray who turned into a serpentine monster that was actually passive, but mankind fearing the unknown attacked and seemingly killed the Gorefield. But it ended up surviving and laying dormant in the Earth, watching the human race and judging them for all their actions and atrocities.
