The Jonathan Ross Show is a British chat show presented by Jonathan Ross. It was first broadcast on ITV on 3 September 2011 - in the late Saturday evening timeslot - following the conclusion of Ross' BBC One chat show, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, in July 2010.
The show is filmed at The London Studios. In November 2011, it was announced that Ross had signed a new two-year contract to host another two series of 10 episodes each and a Christmas special.

Jonathan Ross truly makes me laugh like no one else. It's five in the morning, and I'm sitting here laughing like a mad man while the rest of my family is sleeping.

I think Ross winds him so much that Gordon just ends up winding down and easing up. There was one interview where Ross was deliberately not following Gordon's cooking instructions and Gordon was a bit exasperated, and ended up just throwing an entire bowl of flour on him. Naughty.

Actually, on and off tv, his discipline inside the kitchen is as bad as hell, but outside the kitchen, he's in fact very friendly, an example is this interview.

+Noah Froio - It does make a difference provided you are methodical in your cooking method. If you put them all in starting at 12 o'clock going clockwise, and turn them in that order, that means that each piece has the exact amount of time spent on each side because the length of time it takes you to turn them is the same length of time it took to arrange them in the pan as such. Its called perfection, not 'just okay'. That's why you did not like professional kitchens, you are not a perfectionist. I'm not trying to insult you just saying that you really need to be one to understand the perspective of top chefs. Its not about having the sear looks similar on each, but identical. In the case of cooking thicker items of beef or another meat you intend to serve medium rare, placing them in the pan properly makes the difference between a perfect ribbon of pink in the middle, or a lop-sided one. Maybe not a big deal for you, but for Gordon, top-name chefs, or foodies like myself, it very much is. Jonathan ruined the concept by turning them in whatever order, but that is because this demonstration was geared for comedy not culinary brilliance. Why is pedantism so common on YT?

Haven't had tinned baked beans because I live in Brazil and we don't have that here, but my mayo is ten times 10 times better than Heinz's, so I believe I have an idea what I would think of their baked beans. All that said, I know Jonathan is just pulling Gordon's leg.

I love chef's mentality;start at 12:00, and place clockwise around pan - the second a diversion happens - called out, and actually believes it makes a lick of difference in cooking evenness to the finished dish. Funny, but stinging reminder of the inanities I experienced working for 3-years in the back of house at 4 restaurants in San Francisco. Exec, Chefs are all the same - crazy but thankfully predictable and easy to placate

Gordon touches raw meat then proceeds to cut the salad (yes I know there's no sink) but if anyone follows him, you see him do the same thing in every kitchen

+johnny g Mate firstly thats complete bollocks. Secondly, lamb doesnt have to be cooked through to be edible, in fact rare lamb is better than well done lamb, much like a beef steak. Though what you're also completely oblivious to is that Gordon was helping Jonathan...due to time saving and Jonathans lack of experience in comparison to Ramsay. Though if you can cook better, especially in front of millions of people, with the likes of Jonathan Ross to put up with whilst remaining completely calm in front of millions of people. then i'm sure you'd be wanted by all the top end restaurants across the world. As it is, you're more likely an office monkey who thinks Cheffing is like what your Mum does at home.

Only raw chicken can be dangerous, most other meats alot of people eat raw, specially cow meat (steaks) and mince meats.
