Thank you so much! She's from Italy, and LOVES steak. That's one thing she loves about America: Steak w/ eggs in the morning and beer at night. Let me tell ya, I don't eat steak (due to medical reasons), but this is the most tempting steak video I've ever seen. Chef Ramsey, you're awesome. Thank you and take care. I love how no matter how many times he's instructed us to do something (cutting vegetables, adding spices, applying oil, etc.) he tells us the exact same thing he's told us before. He doesn't just assume we know from his previous instructions and makes sure to tell us exactly how to do it every single time he does something. That's what makes him such a great teacher and instructor, he makes sure it's tattooed in our brain so we never second-guess ourselves.

I don't think very many people understand the blinding speed it takes to be a restuarant chef. I was okay at it but returned to the family backup trade of machine and welding. It's still hot as Hell but much less stressful IMO. I only cook for fun on a weekend and often take all day doing it with insanely expensive ingredients. That's a Sunday activity my wife and I share and can afford to splurge a bit on. Thankfully my wife is an exceptionally *quick and low budget* cook during the week. It really is remarkable how well she does. I would like to punch in the face whoever came up with the "Make me a Sandwich woman" BS.🤨 My wife makes the best sandwiches on the planet.🤤 She even packs the ingredients for my lunch sandwich in separate halves so it's not a wet bread mushy mess by Lunch time.

He has a video of him fixing breakfast ...his style of scrambled eggs takes 15 minutes...not really but it does take a some time. I personally don't like runny scrambled eggs but apparently people do😂
1:24 Steak goes in 1:47 Onions go in 2:04 Garlic goes in 2:34 Butter goes in 3:07 Steak is turned (after 1 minute and 43 seconds, Gordon always says "about 2 minutes") 3:20 Eggs go in 3:30 Butter goes in the egg pan, seasoning follows within seconds 3:43 Scallions go in the egg pan 4:48 Lime juice on the steak (still in the pan) 5:06 Steak comes out (after 1 minute and 59 seconds) So: 2 minutes each side for the steak in a very hot pan A pro like Gordon doesn't have a timer, he just has a feel for it, but we ordinary mortals require more--also remember that Ramsay likes his steak rare

It’s amazing how efficient you can be when you prep. Once I get started I’m too busy fumbling around in the cabinets and fridge for anything to turn out gourmet.
Best thing i've ever seen you cook, mouth watering!
I wouldn’t even be a foody at all. But this recommendation popped up because I watched kitchen nightmares. I know a lot are probably laughing at Ramsey - but it was interesting for someone like me. Who does not really cook and sees food as fuel. Not something to play with. But the fella has this off to an art form- the knowledge, the showmanship/presentation etc. I might even try it along with the Ramsey mannerisms and commentary.
