You can bet on it. He will be remembered as one of the most influencial musicians and keeper of the flame, poet, philosopher and reminder, that it is better to write words about the enigma of love rather than waste your life in bitter regret about whatever; societal inequality, financial inequality. I have spent my whole adult life writing songs and attempting to reach the level of a Bob Dylan or a Gordon Lightfoot and 1000+ more artists, creators of 'good stuff'. Reaching the end of the line, I can surely say, I would seek sobriety and responsible thinking more than I would fame or fortune through 'Hollywood Avenues'. Somehow, I ended up as a street singer. 👍 Yep. And I have no regrets about that at all! I was good at it. And then life dealt me a few swift blows of 'hardship'and as of yet I haven't been able to get back on my musical feet. But I will. Street performers need to get to the streets to perform and my car died and I am too poor to get another one in today's market. Anyhow, I always did a number of Gordon's tunes and many, many songs of Dylan. PLus hundreds of other artists,... I'll be okay, I'll be alright, if I don't have to smile, if I don't have to face the morning sunlight for a while. I'll get along,... I'll face tomorrow with a grin, if I don't have to think about your love again.

I love the way he picks that guitar and uses the basenotes as if it were a horse picking its way along the dusty trail. His voice has always been spectacular. Gordon said you got a lot of his ideas from Dylan. Dylan said he got a lot of his ideas from Gordon. Funny how that works.
