Gordon Higginson Trance Demonstration 1991 Video
This is a rare video of a Gordon Higginson trance demonstration from 1991 which took place in the Library of the Arthur Findlay College Stansted Hall on 11th April 1991. Although many of his trance demonstrations were recorded on audio tape, this is one of only two that were recorded on video.
The recording lasts approximately 1 hour 18 minutes and is well worth watching to experience Gordon’s trance work.
The demonstration begins with a trance address by Choo Chow, an oriental guide who shares philosophy and teaching. This is followed by trance clairvoyance given by Gordon’s Irish guide Paddy with his trademark humour. Trance clairvoyance is where the spirit guide acts as the medium bringing forward information from those in spirit.
After the introduction, the light in the library was turned off leaving only the daylight from the windows. The video therefore starts off with some light but becomes progressively darker as the evening progresses and ends with almost total darkness.
As with many video recordings of this era, both the video and sound quality are not very good compared to modern recorders. Also since camcorder tapes were limited to 30 minutes, the recording was spread across 3 tapes and there is a loss of continuity with Gordon Higginson's speaking where the tapes are swapped in the camcorder.

I had the pleasure of knowing Gordon Higginson for a number of years and also have the pleasure of serving his church and having him chair for me which was a little daunting at times I also had the pleasure of working with him Stansted hall it brings back many memories to see himAnd to hear him once again a phenomenal person and a phenomenal medium I miss his physical presence but always feel his spiritual presence
I really wish they had filmed the ectoplasm seances he did at Stansted Hall. Could you imagine watching it today and watching first hand spirit people materialise! If only!! I loved Gordon's book. He was astounding.

The only medium I’ve seen that is in tv any close to Gordon is Matt Fraser who can easily get names.
This was wonderful, thank you. I’ve had the pleasure of attending the college and have sat in that very room, Gordon is close to my heart, a great man and wonderful teacher.
