PSA: There's also bug sometimes where spire doesn't spawn or it spawns rares outside maps, then You have infinite abyss blue/white monsters that dont drop any loot and give any exp (i encountered it many times, especially when Abyss moves towards boss doors near wall or Harvest entrance or Legion pillar or ANOTHER ABYSS)

there's also another bug/issue, especially with relativelty narrow maps (or layouts) where You can have guaranteed 3+ abysses (compass+scarab) but it spawns only 1 due to issue that abyss takes a path a->b and to create new abyss it need to find another path c->d without crossing any other previous paths hence lowering amount of abysses You get

Just a heads up, I found taking harvest nodes and Harbinger workes the best for abyss spawning correctly. Which works out since harb adds a decent amount of rares still but takes up less resources on the map. Harvest is great if you dont want to buy juice to reroll your scarabs! 😊

For those having issues outdps'ing self-healing rares that become unkillable, socket a Frost Bomb somewhere in your setup, no supports required, it'll cut all enemy healing by 75% (works on both leech and regen rares). Been using it non-stop this league and it has completely nullified that problem even before you improve your damage.

As a PF you should have 0 trouble with this, there is the Pantheon Passive as well as Recovery Mastery in case you have decided to path into the Stuntreshold Node for use with Immutable force.

If you run a low stun treshold setup, socket this into a Cast When Stunned link and it will go bananas. Great idea @EspyMelly.

Also about sustaining cemetery maps, if you have uber strict filter on, it hides low tier maps, so you have to edit it to show t7 maps. I was pissed I wasn't getting any t7 maps with just 1 watchstone, it was the filter hiding all the low map drops ...

With your videos on the Cuastic arrow PF and this i farmed my HH in just a few hours on Softcore trade after hitting lvl 90 then just got my first mirror drop after 4.6k hours of playtime thank you gamer

About the less abyss spawns, on Jungle Valley I should get min 3 of them, compass, scarab and map device but some of the map layouts spawn 2 only with Ritual and some map layouts spawn 3+ with Ritual but when there are 3+ abysses some are very close to each other that both of them could proc.

Been enjoying the abyss strat, dropped my first mirror doing it. Also encountered a few strange bugs with abyss while doing it, main couple being, infinite abyss that spawns mobs forever and doesn't move (they dont drop loot and don't give xp, i sat at one for 15 minutes), and abyss's that just poof while I'm chasing them. I used different scarabs and sextants tho (div, strongbox, abyss, rare packs), and always put skittering orb on map and tab sold my non used scarabs on tft.

i noticed that the infinite abyss things occur when i killed the spire while those abyss projectiles were in the air, they are supposed to disappear when the spire dies, but they cant disappear in the air, and when they land they are just waiting forever for a spire that isnt there to die

I used a winged Abyss scarab with map Abyss craft and had zero abysses in that map. Weird bug, and I was kinda sad cuz I got a triple whisps map 😂

I have had a lot of maps where I have less abysses than supposed to, I found I always had another mechanic in the map (the usual suspect being ultimatum) that "eats" the abyss in order to spawn.

The map craft, scarab and sextant guarantees 3 abysses (4 w/winged). The atlas passives give +56% chance for a extra abyss node, but it's not guaranteed and wouldn't be even if we could block other content while using WP. I've never had fewer than 3 when I have the above options selected. I've noticed when fiddling with scarabs and sextants that I sometimes forget to select the abyss option in the map device.

@@KirbzYyY Not doubting you bc this game's code is well known to be buggy. Extra content is able to spawn on top of each other and abyss feels like it has one of the smaller footprints compared to say legion or expedition so I dunno.

Would it be possible for you to tell us how to craft a helmet like yours?

You should be shooting into the darkness as well, you can drag more monsters into the light.

do you have a video guide on what scarabs/compasses you use? and how you roll your maps besides the +2 proj?

Yeah, that sounds about right, though I think events can spawn inbetween the corners as well.

I dont know if the beyond sextant is that worth it anymore costing like 250c now. You could always run it on the map device for 1 less abyss but with how crazy abysses are we would rather have 1 more abyss than beyond right?

I have a question regarding the spires. Im playing TS and it is generally fine to shoot down the spire to half hp and wait for it to spawn the rares. But after that do you have to kill the spawned rares before you finally kill the spire? It seems like the majority of rares are despawning if the spire goes down first because of TS chaining.

once the spire shoots 3 times it is done, you can kill the spire. just give it a few seconds to spawn all the rares

What are the best scarabs to use with this strategy aside from Gilded Abyss Scarab?

I always get 2 groups, sometimes it pukes a third one, but in my experience, it's 50/50 or worse on the third one. Environmental aspects like walls or other objects might affect it, but I have no solid theory why it doesn't always spawn 3 groups. The spire also doesn't keep spawning if you leave it alive. I've knocked it down to about 30% and watched it for a minute. It won't keep spawning groups, rather it'll despawn itself at some point, but I think the safest option is to hit it a bit because it does seem to spawn dots only after it's taken some damage. Then worry about killing the rares and leave the spire alone, it might spawn another group or it'll despawn. There's no benefit to killing it.

How do you keep divdist up so much ? You tape a stick between Q and 1 keys ?? I find it so hard to keep mashing 1

I love this strat and am very thankful for all youre videos on updates. Still iam here being frustrates some times because i just cant kill some rares on 6k juice which obviously is the key in the strat. When iam dropping delirium drops become kinda meh. I even put item rarity supp out for awakened deadly ailmets but iam still struggeling with some rare packs.

Awakened unbound would be much better than item rarity, as for your damage being low... I'm not sure without looking at a POB. It's likely hit chance, poison chance, or just a bad bow though. Rage tincture is huge as well for berserk.

If you're being incapable of killing rares because they're overhealing your DPS, slap a 0-link Frost Bomb somewhere in your sockets, it cuts enemy healing by 75%, works on both regen and leech rares, once I started using it I've never again had an issue with an unkillable rare

​​@@mapredible9165 If you use any mark nodes on your passive tree, you can use a point for the mastery that causes marked enemies to not be able to regen life. I've found that it's one of the best passive points you can possibly use in this meta of wisp juicing.

What loot filter should I be using for this? The T7 no loot?

I see a lot of people saying the +2 proj isn't that crazy as the majority of the juice comes from +proj from purple juice. How important is this mod? I'd say I hit +2 proj maps I can run every 20 chaos, then if I want them decently juiced I have to double slam so that's 40c/map + time investment. On the flip side, I could use run an 8 mod sextant every 3rd cycle. Get 20 8 mod maps (which have 30% more pack size than the 6 mods) and just chain those. I'm wondering if it's worth doing that, or if the base +2 proj is really that important.

Having issues as well with killing spire too fast . Im playing the chief bomber and im trying to pull the adds away from the spire to kill them but the explosion prolifs so far it finds a way to reach and kill it and even if everything goes as planed i scared to go close to get it to 70% life cause if one of the small adds explode spire dies and so i get only one more extra wave of adds per spire . Im trying to figure out what else to do these past few days with no avail ... anyway thank you again for the update on this strat rly appreciate it have a good day and a happy new year !!!

You're playing the wrong build for a strat like this. Need a different build entirely. Prolif won't work here, as it spreads waaaay too far.

I believe you forgot the strongbox nodes up top, its currently at 127/132.

Can you recommend some leveling guide or build for your version?

How do you sustain currency when doing this strat? Each map is costing 15c for Gilded abyss, 12c for polished Relq, 35sx for beyond and most of the time I'm getting maybe 20c of raw drops and I could scavenge for extra currency if I take off your loot filter that gets rid of a lot of drops. I just don't feel like I'm getting enough out of this strategy for it to even be comparable to your experience and I've attempted to mimic your gear as best I can since I'm new to MFing, I got a lucky div card drop worth 35div on my league start and invested 30 of it into this build, I don't think I'm far off your rarity and quantity stats, damage is fine, I'm rarely ever dying, I'm getting 4k+ wisps per map, I've been running this strat for 3-4 days and at most gotten maybe 7-8 raw divines, which have funneled straight back into scarabs and sextants to re-juice, effectively making zero progress. I'm losing a lot of incentive to continue playing so I'd really appreciate any advice you'd have!

People have done research in terms of their being an internal "tier list" of what gets forced out when a particular map layout hits it's max spawned mechanics. "Additional" abysses are pretty low and will get forced out when the map layout controls the max number of mechanics that can spawn.

That's why I think correct way is to skip beyond sextant because it's too expensive and add it on map device. Then add some other sextant (like monster pack size) for additional mobs.

Have you noticed running certain scarabs/mechanics is more likely to reduce your total abysses versus other mechanics? When I randomly get an expedition, harvest, ritual, ultimatum, blight, etc I end up getting 1-2 abysses when I "force" 3 abysses by default. I was running ambush scarabs for a while, but it seems like Harbinger scarabs are less likely to interfere with abyss spawns than Ambush. I went with Breach over expedition/ritual on the atlas and I'm thinking about adding a Breach scarab (cheap add to only needing a rusted scarab), but I'm a bit worried it's going to cut into my abyss spawns and be a net negative while also costing more. Divination scarabs just seem meh because it doesn't really scale the juice strat at all, they also cost 1.5x more than everything but reliquary scarabs.

Yeah I wouldn't add breach, ritual seems pretty good though. And you are right that mechanics can replace abysses, seems like it is a low priority for the game.

Question about the spire, after it spawns the rares at 70% & 50%.. do you need to not kill the spire before killing the rares? as with HH I sometimes dont have the choice because of shroud walker. Also playing TS with chain, which does cause me to sometimes kill the spire while hiding behind a corner.. Also anyone have tips for performace, been having to restart PoE after every map as the lag becomes a big problem.. also the amount of flickering/lag while mobs are spawning from the spire, which is weird considering im running a 4090.. One tip i found that makes your maps feel smoother is turning the sound channel to low, as weird as that sounds it actually works.

Check the F1 panel, you're probably CPU bound in juiced maps like this, if reducing the number of sound channels helps then it's 100% a CPU bound problem, which means you want as little running on your PC as possible, close browsers, Discord, etc. If you can get it to purely PoE running then it will help a lot, otherwise close as much as you can.

I am playing a boneshatter without magic find... however when crafting the maps with 8 mods there are modifiers that do not allow me to make them... I only try to make maps with the mods that I can and always the + 2 projectiles

Hey Goratha, which version of your build would you recommend for a fresh league starter? You seemingly took it in several different directions based on the multiple videos I've watched, and I've lost two characters to server lag like right after I got to maps, so I have extremely limited gear to start with. Just looking for something safer I can get started with before I even think about going for juicer MF build.

You can add or pin this thats useful for the league mechanic. You can "widescreen" your game as well. Might be annoying to some, but you can simply window POE, then stretch it together, creating a "widescreen" and seeing further left and right for things such the wisps. I might be explaining it poorly, but there are videos out about it. NOTE: You do not need a widescreen monitor to do this. Anyone can do it.

what are you running for mf ? i'm considering going full MF too in ssf because I run the strat with just ventor and goldwyrm (and IIR support since i play on a 3L to avoid oneshotting the spire by mistake) and the loot is already super good kinda curious to see how good it is on actual high mf gear

Even if it doesnt waste your "time", youd need to first get to it and it usually is surrounded by complete darkness so youd be just wasting getting to it.

Thanks Goratha for the info and strat. I have been trying it and ran around 70maps this way. No T1 uniques/loot for me so far. The most expensive item that has dropped is a single h. lock. How many maps did you run before you would see a T1 drop? am I doing something wrong here?

Honestly no, but the loot just started dropping. I noticed you need at least 7k sperad across all 3 (imo) to get actual crazy maps. I dropped my first mirror ever so I cant complain. But other than the mirror I was getting xrazy divine conversions, dropped locks etc. Key is really having all 3 above 2k if possible. @@eliasgreepaly9948

I have a question. You said you are running strongboxes + harbringer. WIth that setup, considering you need 2 x strongbox sextants to make them worth. What are you not running now, beyond? Beyond is also the most expensive sextant but i'm wondering because you cant fit 2x Strongbox + 1 abyss + delirum + beyond in your sextans so you must be dropping one of those.

Normally I'll use deli orb with strongboxes. So it'd be beyond, abyss, strongbox rare, enrage and then deli orb.

Is it madatory to have all the atlas points or can i start off with a low amount.

Whats the reason for ritual? We save it for last and hope other mechanics go into it but the loot from specifically the ritual vendor is garbage (specially in the t7 version) is there another option or is this just for all the extra mobs that it spawns and not for the vendor

Could you please share the skills that you use on the showcase? The pob doesn't have mirage archer etc. Do you have different skill set ups that don't use manaforged and so forth. Really liking the build but having some trouble following it. Would appreciate the help.

Just swap the deadly for mirage archer.

I'm level seventy seven I only have three labs done because i've never really done anything but minions, I'm really enjoying this but I feel like I have no damage lol. I'm sure i'm doing something wrong, What's the best way to scale damage earlyfor this particular build

One thing ive experienced and see alot is dont accidentally click the “300% exp but bo drops” altar in the forest, ive seen it and managed not to click it only for it to some how be active when I got back in the map. Arguably the worst altar they could have put in the game especially with how rasy it is to accidentally click it when trying to walk around it.

I'm always geting Troves ( Chests) and i mean all the time did like 15 maps and NO i don't have Growing Hoards on my atlas tree.
