Tremendous video. I have a 2014 and love the motor. To those who don't understand VTEC it's not just about top end power. The VTEC enables you to fast cruise at 80+ MPH on 2 valves per cylinder yielding great gas mileage. It also delivers better low speed drivability. And the transition to 4 valves at 6,800 RPM is entertaining and unlike any other motorcycle. And the VFR is big, comfortable, and very stable on the highway. The bike just plain rocks.

@@milovanpuric318 I miss mine - moved on to a 2018 GoldWing. I'm an old guy who needed something more comfortable for longer rides. The Interceptor got to my creaky old neck and shoulders. The good news is that as long as I can still throw a leg over a bike I'll continue riding. And I kept my CB1000R for good measure.

@@Krezo200 Thanks for asking I love talking about my SC60 2014 CB1000R. This version was designed by Honda of Italy and made there. I bought mine new in the fall of '15 for just over $7K. The engine is an absolute jewel with power everywhere. I fitted a Yoshimura 3/4 system as soon as I got her home and it was a straightforward install save for getting to the O2 sensor which is tucked away and barely accessible. I talked to the Yoshimura guys about a power commander and they said don't bother. Just retain the O2 sensor and it will run fine. And they were right. The bike handles and brakes extraordinarily well and the sounds it makes with the Yosh pipe are downright diabolical. If you're just chilling about you shift at about 4K and it will happily pull 6th gear down to 35 MPH without any protest. I love it when the road clears and I just walk her up to 7K in third and fourth with the slickest gearbox I've ever encountered. The engine is glass smooth at up to 70 MPH with a bit of inline 4 buzz after that - not a show stopper at any rate. I actually prefer this model to the new one as Honda switched to a cable clutch and once you've experienced a hydraulic clutch cables just don't cut it. I bought a slick set of Givi soft expandable saddle bags that turn out to hold more than the panniers on my GoldWing bagger. Go figure. I guess I've rambled on quite a bit here but I can't say enough good things about this bike. Respond with specific questions and I'll answer them if I can. Cheers.

@@gwilliamwallace wow! only 7k for this bike (new!) thats an amazing deal. here they cost 5k - 9k € with high mileage. im grateful that you answered this long, i want to know everything about this bike. i had a 2011 z1000 and wasnt hapy with the handling (you had to force it into curves, and push it so it stays down). i like what you say about the engine, sounds exactly what i want. a strong inline four cylinder with minimum 900 ccm displacement packed in a lighter bike with good handling. im most curious about the handling of the bike, how you can ride it in curves and stuff like that. would be awesome if you could tell me some more stories and your experience. and dont worry, the longer the text/answer the happier i am ! maybe i will buy one next year if the politics dont destroy us totally here in germany
