Gopro Inside Pinfish Trap, AMAZING Chum Mix For Baitfish

Спорт

Underwater footage of Pinfish feeding frenzy. I caught so many baitfish in my trap using this chum mixture. It took about twenty five minutes for the Pinfish to really start congregating inside the trap. Once they started shaking the chum bag the special mixture of Jack Mack created a cloud of small bits and pieced of food that the school of baitfish couldn't resist. While the pen was doing it's job, I was on the bridge fishing with a Sabiki Rig that had all the hooks tipped with squid.
Here are the ingredients for the chum:
1. One can of Jack Mackerel (already cooked and ready to eat in the can)
2. Quick cooking raw oats
3. Cooking oil
In this video there's also great footage of two really large Manatees that passed right underneath where I was fishing. They appeared to be enjoying the warmth of the sun while slowly drifting with the current on top of the water.

There were also other fish that were video recorded inside of the trap, a Filefish and a Black sea bass.

You threw back perfect snapper size baits back, I use the 2-3 inch size around Sebastian Inlet, them snapper snatch them up as fast as you can get them down,I get bit so fast with those size they got them before I can get the bail closed on my reel!

Hey JC I just got a pinfish trap at a flea market for $10 bucks , looked online and saw your posting and one from FWC the trap is suppose to be 2’ by 2’ by 2’ square and the opening has to be 3”” inches tall and 3/4 “ of an inch wide , if it’s to big they’ll go in and out , and I’m with you any veggie oil should work ,I think if you make the chum up ahead of time and the fishy oils get time to marinate for awhile it could help , I wanna try it out at the skyway fishing pier for grouper or maybe at the new pier at fort desoto, for snapper , so I don’t know if my bait trap is going to be as good as chumming and cast netting ? tight lines bud 👍🏼👊🏼

One small tip I'd say jc is tie your rope on the opening side of your trap, so when you pull it up your baits down get flushed out the door. Watched a few of your baits get out of the trap as you retrieved it. Most fish won't eat puffers but there are some flukes that do happen when the fish are that hungry. Like your videos bro. Nice job. Catch ya later and keep em tight.

If you find a bridge or jetty with bigger snappers, the small pins will help you catch some of the tasty critters for a "catch & cook" video. Great shots inside the trap here.....nice work.

Oh, interesting point of view. Thanks for commenting. Fishermen are tax paying citizens too and shouldn't ever be deprived of fishing on bridges. People drive by in cars and throw trash, break the sound ordinances, speed all the time and no one is creating laws that stop them from driving over the bridges. Anyone can walk on a bridge, ride a bike on a bridge, drive their car on a bridge, heck they can even stop and take pictures on bridges, they jog over bridges, but fishermen can't fish on bridges. Don't even get me started. Hey, if there are any homeless people around, you know they actually defecate under bridges. Bike riders, walkers, joggers, they all defecate under bridges too. Like I said, don't even get me stated on this topic.
