@gopro ive just picked up a hero 11 this summer. the new max lens 2.0 isnt compatibly... is there anyway i could upgrade to the 12? or will you ever make the 11 compatibly with the newer wider lens?

Yes, HERO12 Black still supports Max Lens Mod 1.0. Please keep in mind that Max Lens Mod 1.0 does not support the new features + specs available in Max Lens Mod 2.0.
Are GP-log, flat or Natural colour prfiles available with max lens 2.0 mode?
Personally, I am quite disappointed with the GoPro hero 12, as the camera has no significant improvements over the GoPro hero 11. The internal HDR mode is absolutely unusable for me, as it's not really HDR! On my channel you can watch real GoPro HDR videos! GoPro log is nice, but with GoPro Labs I can also set a very flat image profile! Only if you do not own a GoPro, then you can consider buying the GoPro 12. I actually expected a larger sensor or higher resolution!

@@PjXu98 Difficult to answer. The GoPro 11 costs $349 on Amazon and the GoPro 12 costs $400. The question for you is, do you want to pay the $50 to get the extra features? I think I would buy the GoPro 11 because I don't care about the extra features or because those features are already in the GoPro 11. For example, if the longer battery life is important to you, then buy the GoPro 12, but you could also buy the GoPro 11 Plus 2 extra batteries instead and that would come to $400 as well.

@@GoPro yes sir!! im subscribe to your channel for a long time.....im a boy from one of the smallest state of India (NE) Mizoram i am a 2wheeler rider.. you dont know how bad i want n needed gopro..not the latest version ,,even gopro5,6,7 will perfectly do it for me..its hard for me to own one with just 12000 rupees monthly salary...upon feeding my wife and mom....so plzz make the giveaway available to participate even if its the older version.....thanks for your reply even this reply make my day
Really? You made a narrow, vertical video to promote the MLM2, a mod that gives you a wider field of view. I realize it wasn't purely about the lens mod, but, come on. Make a real video for the Max Lens. I'm not a GoPro hater, I have over 30 of them and my Hero12 is already on preorder. I just hate vertical video, I always feel cheated. I feel like I am trying to peek at something through the space between two fence slats. My eyes are horizontal, so are my TVs, desktop screens, laptops, and I am not so lazy that I can't be bothered to turn my phone a lousy quarter turn.
