Nice presentation....it looks really cool especially the remote control. I will add it to my bucket list of yet more things to buy for my gopro 🥺
With a gimbal you can shoot at a 180 degree shutter (1/50, etc.) both to retain motion blur and to radically improve low light performance. Your GoPro (and much moreso a DJI Action 4) is suddenly a capable nighttime camera, boosting its value considerably. Also with digital stabilization, the less movement that needs to be stabilized, the less of the frame needs to be cropped into, resulting in a higher quality image via lower level stabilization modes, or after shooting entirely while editing using ReelSteady (GoPro) or Gyroflow (DJI). I've found you can actually get away with using digital stabilization even with a 1/50 shutter speed using a gimbal without getting the jello effect. The most dramatic example of the advantage of using a gimbal I can think of is Terry B's cycling KZread channel. He uses a GoPro mounted on an older wearable-style gimbal on his helmet, using an ND filter to lock the shutter speed at 1/50 for motion blur (while still using hypersmooth in Wide) and setting the ISO at a fixed exposure so that it never fluctuates. The quality of his footage is remarkably good as a result (also helps riding a bike like a madman through NYC). A Pocket 3 would be amazing for doing this at night, but the advantage of the GoPro + gimbal version is that they're both completely waterproof, Hohem has more modes (like combined pan and tilt lock), and you can layer digital stabilization on top of it for full 4-axis stabilization.
All excellent points! I use this gimbal for all my mtb content. I've used the 1/4 20 mount on the side to rig it to a chest harness because I think it looks so much better.

That is an interesting setup. Would you recommend that mount while skiing ? I would have thought the camera would flop around a lot.

Oh nice. I was trying to work out if I could attach this to my GoPro chesty. How have you rigged yours up?
Where are you riding your bike? Beautiful trails.
Beautifully presented video.
Awesome Video!! 🔥 Filming at night with the gimbal no I leave Hypersmooth on or shut off using the gimbal? Thankyou!
I have this Gimbal and use for low light scenarios
very helpful, thank you! 🙋♂
Can i use GoPro on insta 360 flow gimbal?
Nice work!

But this gimbal doesn't work with the GoPro Max Mod on the Hero 12, correct?

no it does not. I would recommend the Falcon Plus Gimbal for that. here is my Amazon affiliate link if you want to check it - amzn.to/42GjwXk

@@LukeEdwinexcuse me I just want to make sure. It really doesn’t work with Max lens mode 2.0 on GoPro 12? Why? It is too heavy and unbalanced?
Can't use Media mod.. 🙁

No it doesn’t. The INKEE Falcon Plus Gimbal can and it’s a great gimbal that’s close to this price range. Here is my Amazon affiliate link if you want to use it - amzn.to/46s17Pb
One question, so should we stop the hypersmooth option when using at gimbal? Or it doesn’t matter we can still always have it on? Same question but specifically for night shots, if we use gimbal and have hupersmooth on at we still going to get that distortion? Should we turn it off?

You can leave it on in both situations

DJI can only hope they never make Drones. The company is very progressive

GoPro did make a drone a couple years ago and it flopped.

I believe that GoPro will be able to do something with night video shooting. For now DJI wins only in this

This sarcasm right? GoPro had that GoPro Karma drone that failed because DJI came out with Mavic. Wish GoPro continued making and updating the GoPro gimbal grip though

Karma failed because the battery locks failed while in flight. Drones were dropping like rocks.
Gopro and gymbal ? LOL ... DJI Pocket my friend ;)
Why use a gimbal when it is very steady anyway ?
