With Horizion Lock enabled the max lens 2.0 allows you to keep the video locked in centre no matter how you move or rotate the camera.
The Max Lens 2.0 simply allows for extreme wide view to the camera and gives that extra space to crop for better electronic stabilisation aka max hypersmooth.
