Uboxing and Testing the new ‪@GoPro‬ Hero 12 Black with my rc cars.
Hero 12 Black Hypersmooth 6.0 is very good for rc car videos with new features likes HDR video, 8:7 Aspect ratio, 8x Slow motion, Front Screen, Built in Quarter inch Mount, Longer Lasting Enduro Battery, 10bit color and Max Lens 2.0, the hero 12 has maintained its leading position in the action camera market.
For rc car videos the best settings for hero 12 from my experience are mentioned below.
1) 2.7k 4:3 60fps - Hypersmooth Autoboost - Linear + Horizion Lock - Max ISO 1600 (120fps is better but consider lighting situation)
2) 4k 60fps 16:9 - Hypersmooth Autoboost - Linear + Horizion Lock - Max Iso 1600
3) 5.3k 30fps / 4k 60fps 30fps HDR mode is best for crawler rc cars and trucks to get good dynamic range when hitting the trail.
4) Slow motion mode : 2.7k 16:9 240fps Hypersmooth Autoboost Wide mode - Max iso 1600.
These are my recomended settings for the hero 12 black.
