@@sysispgm2791 he hit a 9-darter and hit 8 perfect darts in the leg after. Almost the one and only time someone would hit two consecutive 9-darters on TV. He missed D12 but not by much, it was just insane to watch, I didn´t catch it live but even watching it afterwards makes you scream "Nooooooooo!!!"

Was just about to comment that. I am a very proud highlander and that gave me goosebumps the night I watched it. People can complain about the noise of the pipes but in the hands of some1 who can play them there a thing of beauty. Pipes will get u in the mood for drinking, fighting and fucking but maybe not in that order but yes john Henderson at Aberdeen is definitely a goosebumps in darts moment. In fact in any sport 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🥃🥃slainte

I remember when Mensur Suljovic won the 2017 Champions League of Darts... The emotion from me when Mensur won it... I was happy crying with him... He's one of my favourites, and I admire his passion for the game

Still find it hard, even now, to believe that Nigel Pearson (who used to commentate on the darts) is no longer with us. Nigel was taken from us far too young, and I miss him so much. He was a LEGENDARY commentator. RIP Nigel Pearson (1970-2022).

What is definitely missing is Henderson vs. van Gerwen in Aberdeen - MVG is absolutely lacerating Hendo who plays like a school boy at first but then the crowd carries him to a 6:6 draw. Most insane crowd and MVG struggles to grasp what's going on.

⁠​⁠​⁠@@TylerBigHeadit’s not that hard to understand. MVG was way ahead of Henderson but the crowd kept cheering henderson on to motivate him and he managed to catch up to MVG to a 6-6 draw.

Top video, Darts is a really special sport, can go from booing someone to cheering them in a set, some really awesome clips in this. As someone who isn't a massive Darts fan, as I get older the more and more I get what a mega sport and night out it is.

I think Rvbs entrance and reception in Rotterdam for the premier league was absolutely incredible probably the biggest ovation in darts I’ve ever seen

I would have recommended Priestley-RVB 2007 PL week 12 leg 4 where both hit 2 consecutive 180's and had a 9 dart attempt. Nice list overall.

Great moments in darts, but can we applaud mister John McDonald as well. His introductions are top notch and he really makes the game even more exciting. Darts should be an Olympic sport as it unites the world. It's played everywhere around the globe (unlike certain Olympic sports) and its entertainment value is off the charts. I think darts would be an instant hit during the Olympics.

It sounds funny but when you think about it, it is bigger sport than 99% of "sports" in general. Even without perfect genes or physical condition you can win it by pure skill, and it has no money privillege like many other popular sports where big part of competition is missing just because the sport is hard to get into without huge money investments. I have never watched darts until this video but it sounds like a perfect sport for olympics. Also, table tennis was the only event I watched in 2021 olympics because pretty much everything else makes no sense.
