Denise Donovan who plays Keeri was the choreographer, so when Jemilla asks 9:03 "Keeri, did you choreograph this and teach everyone?" its a nice meta callout. Denise said that each performance after Climate Change, when Keeri was scripted to make a little ironic remark about the dancing 1:15:33 ("the rib isolation could be sharper") it was always a real note of her observations.

Firebringer has one of the strongest StarKid soundtracks, in my opinion, and it’s a shame that so many people write it off. Glad to see you react to it.

I think a lot of people kind of write it off, because while the music is incredible the actual book isn’t their strongest. And while I like the show a lot I do agree the book could be better

Fun fact: they had to fire the set designer, because they didn’t do a very good job. And then I believe Corey Lubowich had to pull it all together and pulled a lot of all nighters. There’s footage on the BTS of Corey sleeping under a desk in the dressing room because he was so tired.

The feathers on Zazz's shoulders are stiff structures that can be removed and slid into slits so the costume as a whole can be washed without ruining the inserts. June, their costume designer, is so clever.

I love Firebringer, and I genuinely think it has the best music among all the Starkid shows.❤ Meredith and Mark Swiderski ftw! Zazallil is an icon and 'Into the night' is my motivational anthem. One random thing I noticed is during the iconic double proposal at the end, Meredith and Lauren are flanked by their irl partners. I just thought that was cool 😊 Edit: Hope you react to Starship next, it is my second-favorite Starkid show!

Firebringer is definitely among my favorites, the soundtrack is, pardon my pun, fire.

definitely looking forward to Twisted and Starship! also, are you planning on Holy Musical B@man? 'cause you totally should! especially if you like Batman and/or DC...but its still enjoyable and has catchy good music even if you don't. also, have you ever watched their Harry Potter musicals yet?

The music in this one is so good. Story is a bit out there, but that's okay. Honestly, aside from the weird Chorn reveal at the end, it's pretty solid. Haven't seen many reactions to this one yet. Glad you hit it.

I don’t really think the Chorn reveal is weird. It’s very 2001 A Space Odyssey, with the monolith bringing greater intelligence to the apes. There are so many theories that Alien’s cultivated life or evolution within humanity that it’s not like Starkid came up with a brand new idea.

Firebringer was the first Starkid musical I ever saw, and it's still one of my favorites. It's just a really fun show, and the music is fantastic

Firebringer was the first Starkid musical I watched and remains my favourite. Admittedly, I am mildly biased because I adore Lauren Lopez and she shines in this musical, they actually let her sing high and her voice is incredible. Though I have to admit, I always find it incredibly unfair that the Tribe blames Zazzazil for the village burning down when it is entirely Ducker's fault.

It’s a weird one among Starkid’s work, but it’s solid for what it is…
