honestly, google got completely outclassed by openai on this round
Complains about GDPR then complains about Google sucking up your data and training on it. Irony dude, irony.
People attack openAI for ccharging toward AI, but this whole event just seems wreckless and with no thought on user privacy
I’m so over Google …
So we will have all AI driven personal assistants that are the OS's of our lives. And we happily handover all of our data to these companies? Thats completely insane!
title can be more direct... "Google's Project Astra: The Future of AI Assistants REACTION"
Long context will ruin your budget if you use it. It will unlock your wallet instead of use cases.
Bro is younger Elon Musk
I suppose that they are talking about online shopping? You give your returned goods to a parcel service and they send it back. They also can pick it up, because they come by every day, anyway. Like, half a dozen different deliverer trucks. Every single day except Sunday and (most) holidays. I am from Germany. That's how it works. Does it not work like that in the rest of the EU?. Just goes to show how unified we really are...
Dang David, you DRAGGED this Google presentation through the mud at some points 😂
You guys don't have to worry too much, OpenAI also has another bigger model that they will release very soon.
Yo ondrej , you fing crack me up, dude everybody on the Internet needs to take notes from you on how to just be a normal person bro and that’s exactly how I feel about everything you’ve been saying on here. I feel the same way. It’s hilarious though watching you say because most people are acting when they’re on these podcasts, you’re just natural that’s wassup.
David , you hit the nail on the head regarding the privacy issue in regards to little Lucia. An issue most people dont think about when they post their children's images all over there social media platforms and (something I didn't think of) even uploading their photos to Google Photos or Drive etc. which Google uses in their training data.

I believe the key to making AI accessible to everyone is to utilize open-source models.
Restricting availability is just dumb. If I can get it now from one source, why would I wait a month or 6 to get it from Google, Anthropic, etc.? They're just shooting themselves in the foot.
Gemini app is Google app.
FYI The Gemini app is only available on certain models. I ran into the same problem of not being able to find it on my Samsung tablet right after I installed in on my Samsung A21.
