(Hey, if no one else has pointed this out about the audio on your videos: your microphone sounds very wide stereo. (Is it a stereo mic?) On an iPad and Apple TV, it sounds strange because your voice is very wide Left and Right, instead of feeling like it’s mono in the center. So the audio feels disconnected from your video when we see you speaking. I just thought you should know!)

Only available in the US and selected countries apparently for now. Here in South America we do not have the "extensions" option inside Gemini and therefore cannot connect it to Maps or our Google Workspace, hopefully they roll this out to other countries as well before Microsoft does with Copilot Pro, otherwise MS will take the international lead since the only potential benefit I see from Google is the earlier access to the AI inside docs, sheets, etc.

Please also check your Workspace admin settings for this ‘Enterprise-grade security and privacy’, as it isn’t activated as such by default. You have to explicitly select the correct setting, otherwise your users are allowed to use the non-restricted version of Gemini.

We need proper expansion into google keep, messenger and youtube. Also full acess to assistant capabilites on device.

Can you limit the number of people wanting access to Gemini in Workstation? I have 100 users. That's already over $3000 for email, etc. If I gave everyone access to Gemini, that would be $6000. I suspect I will suggest that people use their personal account but let's say there are 3 or 4 people who I know can use it. Can I turn it on for just those people?

Why they don't offer a 2 or 4 weeks free trial to make us addict and then take our money? This is something I wanted for years but I'd really need to assess if it fits my need first before committing. Do you know if it scans years of past thousands emails of a box to generate similar response? Like every businesses we have processes which means that very often we send the same kind of canned answers with just a few adaptations (name, prices, product kind...). If it could handle that it would be stunning Thanks

There is a 14 day free trial for the professional Google Workspace + Gemini, but you do need to give a credit card... you can cancel for free within 14 days though.

Gemini only in Gmail in Ukraine. Doc, excel, slide - nothig

£20 for enterprise on workspaces, not worth it yet... I don't do much with google docs... Also you can just open the free version and ask it to write emails. It's code revision and output is still very questionable, often it wont give you the code for something stating security concerns. Too many guard rails. Seems like it's the right LLM for the right job at the moment. Gemini has a long way to go, but so does chatGPT. Give it 5 years, see where we are then, till then, stay on the free usage models.

As someone with a Pixel 8 Pro and a Pixel Watch 2, Google products have functioned horribly for months now. I have lost all trust in their ability to develop a cohesive ecosystem. At this point, it seems completely irresponsible to let Gemini anywhere near my personal information. Good luck getting me to pay $20/month for it lol.

I asked Gemini to show me a picture of Donald Trump, and it said ok. The result was a picture of Joy Reid. 😂

They got the worst generative ai models. They're useless. The only thing that's good in google is that they made everything connected which makes things easier. But the ai,, they're far behind.

Gemini is DEI crap.

It looks like you have to specifically turn it on to be available for EDU. I recommend that this crap product be blocked by all EDU organizations.
