It most likely will, but I haven't put a piece of glass over it so I'm not super qualified to answer your question

thinking of this for next phone but put iff by small mega pixel selfie cam is it only 13meg

I've had my Pixel 7 Pro for around 10 months now, I've been saving my images both as JPG and DNG Raw files, which were much bigger than jpgs. Then, Android got updated and I noticed that the DNG files were a LOT smaller. I then checked the image resolution of DNGs and they are NOT the same resolution as the JPGs, they are literally useless because their resolution is like 1K longest edge. I then did a Google search and the DNGs have always been low resolution. I'm really pissed off about that, any ideas?

If you still got the issue, check out the unblur feature. Go to photos > click on a photo> edit> tools> Unblur

Great video, but you actually can go into settings and access the raw photo. That is an option.

DNGs are low res - I found that out today......

Can u do a review of the night time photos with this phone!

I am a beginner nature photographer and the Pixel 7 pro is my camera. Do you have suggestions on settings? Thats where I keep getting stuck.

To be honest I don't have many suggestions, just shoot in raw and get Lightroom to be honest, that's a sick combo.

Yeah it bothers me quite a bit to be honest, I really wish we could use the entire 50 mp. Even a dedicated mode would have been great. Unfortunately it's the same issue with the pro

I'm a new Google Pixel 7a owner., upgrading from a Huawei p20. The Huawei was way better for long exposure. I could control how long the exposure lasted, therefore resulting in moving clouds and silky smooth water. Needed a tripod though...but still, with Google bragging about their camera, I expected, at the very least, it to be on par with the older Huawei p20. Oh and the Huawei battery lasted 4ever.. I wonder how the Leica leitz phones are, in terms of photography. They have a 1" sensor.

I'm thinking of buying it, but could someone who has or had it tell me if the photos and selfies are good?

They are decent selfies. And honestly, on the paper there is not much difference With other high-end phones like i14P and SGS23U. The real difference is in the rear camera module.

There's no AUTO FLASH! There's a *HUGE* delay between the time you "click", & when the picture is actually taken. A LARGE list of other things that make this THEE worst decision I've made as far as phone buys.

We’re you paid by Google? My PIxel 7takes ok photos compared with my s20fe samsung phone! Can you explain that ? Thanks for the review

Sounds like you have some settings that need to be changed. I don't have a pixel, but have the S21FE and the tech specs on the pixel combined with photos I've seen from friends who own the pixel blow the samsung out the water. It'll take some learning, but look into shooting raw and learning how to use an editing program such as LR or Capture 1. I believe the pixel takes raw files on it's own, but the samsung requires a separate app. If you're unfamiliar with raw/jpg: JPG is the print you got from walgreens back in the days of film and RAW is the negative that can be edited. Hope this helps.

Nahh even s21 gets beaten by pixel 6 and i own both 6 and 7. I also have a friend who owns s21 and the photo is not that great but it has a softer touch and adds a filter to the photo so it looks kinda pretty?

well .. I watched it all! (almost) .. and I am sure that from professional prespective of professional photographer who has got professional opinion and who has a professional camera and takes professional photos, I can tel that any professional reviewing the phone would waste their time. Hence why teehagers are doing it now :) Thanks buddy for reviewing mediocre phone with expected camera capability. And thank you for making me to engage socially! I was about to kill my self... ;)

I have 2 bodies and 8 lenses from the Nikon Z series- but that's a lot of 💩 to haul around and I'm looking for something more portable when i see a good shot and don't have my gear bag with me. I'm here trying to figure out if IPHONE or this is the better route.

@@uhoh7541 I actually just bought the Pixel 7 a few days ago and I been loving it! The camera is incredible. You can even do astrophotography on it! Quite an impressive phone.
