Had the 4 XL a few years back - just ordered a new 4 as a backup device. Using only Google apps and light use so battery life should last two days +.

I just upgraded to a pixel 8 pro from a pixel 4 and only did so because of the battery life and some apps not supported now. Other than that the 4 can still accomplish much. I will still hold on to it though for its unlimited storage saver. It was a great phone that served me well for 4 years and will continue to support my storage even though Im using the 8 pro now.

My cousin gave me his, after him using it for 3 yrs and its a lot better than I thought it would be it definitely has a lot better specs that modern budget phones. I haven't had one problem yet, except for battery life and brightness

I would say this is the perfect phone for a teenager now

i gave a pixel 4 XL to my 86 year old dad today and a pixel watch and he loves them

I forgot about the squeeze function already. I actually thought that was cool.

It's my main andonly phone, I just received a replacement screen. I dropped it 6 months after buying it, and it crack. Now, more than a year later I'm changing he display. I know it's probably not worth it, but unfortunately here in Greece you won't find it that cheap.

hey, if it works great for you and it works smoothly, its worth it. it might not be a Samsung or Apple, but its still Google and those cameras are amazing

​@@SeoWoojin55 they are actually, even for a 4 year old phone. Now what I'm seeing it free of cracks I know it was worth it! And btw it works great in every aspect.

9:40 as long as you dont buy the Verizon version of this phone it supports unlocking the bootloader and custom ROMs. It has way more longevity than most phones solely because of that

I use them for my bike navigation, still works great

I miss my 4XL, it was an excellent phone.

It comes with unlimited data saver storage right?

I'm only thinking about it because it has eSim compatibility as you need a flagship to get a new phone that shpports it!

Don't OnePlus phones all come with dual physical SIM? I'd rather have that than ESIM

The cameras are still some of the best. I had this phone but traded it for the 6 pro and it had way to many bugs. Now I have the 8 pro and love it

Went from 4a 5g to 6a to 8 pro. All upgrades were free.

Still desperately looking for a smaller high build quality android in 2024; rather regretting my 'upgrade' to the oversized 6a but for the price at the time it seemed like the only option. But now that I can get a pixel 4 for $200, as a light user who doesnt game or watch video on his phone, this 5 year old phone unironically seems like the best option out there. (also want to give a shout out to the s10e for its size but I cant bring myself to spend a day uninstalling bloatware after every update). If only more people realised that getting a bigger screen for less money actually isnt an upgrade in a device thats primarily aimed at portability, we might have a competitive market in such devices, but alas.

It can be pretty rough on some older phones lol, plus that's probably the most intensive activity the average person will use their phone for, so it's a good benchmark for performance I figure.

​@@MandrakeRoomba (short and uncomplete answer) i realized, all people around me and myself got some kind of pain, anxiety or something similar. And all of them are taking some kind of drug, which as one should know is not good for a long duration. I wont take any stuff, so I decided to move out of the big city I were living in and moved closer to nature… less city with all of its microwave actions = better health in generall. (Again - that is a VERY short and uncomplete answer)

Privileged narcissist, it's got all the features any other phone has, you only pay for design ane the brand but the phone in itself is useful and works perfectly fine. It's not trash just doesn't need more then it already has

Indeed, you are correct. This phone makes a better hand warmer than a phone. You will get a good 2 hours of hand warming per charge. What a p*** of **it!
