Delivery driver in the UK here, always driving in unknown urban areas. Waze animations let me down, Google can be cluttered but is pretty damn good and Apple Maps has caught up and is less cluttered. When out on deliveries I've (after switching MANY times) opted for Apple. Their latest topography 3D views are easily the most intuitive to drivers in unfamiliar surroundings. But to be fair to all 3 of the market leaders, they are all pretty amazing. But the 3D topography and added privacy enjoyed within Apple Maps make it a winner for me.

From my experience I prefer Apple Maps because it is so much more accurate in location. When I use google maps it also takes me the dumbest way possible while Apple Maps takes me the best way. But that’s just my experience.

How is this possible, I'm a photographer, and many times, I've given people address to locations and they can't find me, I ask if they have an iPhone and they say yes, always the issue, that APPLE maps would take them via routes that couldn't get them to the destination, vs me arriving exactly where I intended.

The New Apple Maps is amzing 😭 It tells me what lane to be in, like that im not panicking trying to figure out which lane out of the 5 will keep me on the right track in highways.

Google maps had to add swimming directions because apple maps kept on making people drive into bodies of water

Definitely Google Maps if u regularly travel alot. More up to date features.

Especially in a third world country.

Im a delivery driver... i used to use iphone 7 in 2017-2018 ... i had no relation with google maps at that time... my iphone got cracked mid 2018 and i decided to buy huawei and had to use google maps... cant count how many times it took me few metres ahead or back which is very annoying when youre delivering food and has to be on time then move onto another. Im back in with iphone se(cos its cheap and new processor) it feels so good... esp when i go countryside and theres just house names. Google maps cannot find them but with apple maps 👌👌👌 Thus i would recommend any delivery driver to better use apple maps...

Amen! Google map sucks ass, it's 2021 already and they can't even find houses. I now have to take my old iphone with me when delivering just cause google map can't handle the fking job.

😇🥰My daughter bought herself the new iPhone, gave me her old iPhone! I’ve always had an android! I love google, I’ve always used it on my android! Well I am still trying to figure out my iPhone now! Thank you so much for the video! Sure helped this old lady out! I wasn’t sure witch one to use! I think I’ll just keep both! Lol, on my new iPhone! I find it really weird that I have to buy storage with these phones! Apple sure is bringing in the $$$👀😇😎!

Lane assist feature is location dependent. Make need to make suare that it works in other devices. If it does, try clearing the cache and data of the app.

Apple Maps are way better one of my family members used google maps and it got us lost but Apple Maps got us to our destination

Happened to me once, but not with Google Maps, it was Waze. We used Apple Maps to get us out.

Apple Maps is the BEST in USA. Always up to date and very accurate compare to Google maps.

This isn’t Apple Maps 2020. I use everyday and most of the interface and information you showed here is different and better. This looks like 2017/2018 version of Apple Maps.

He doesn't live in America. Only America and Japan have the "new" Apple Maps currently. The UK will be next, followed by Canada.

NYRavage I actually live in Sāo Paulo Brazil and its just like the one in America. At least in my city.

For some remote land I have in central Florida, seems every map service has a different image and set of street names. Seems Apple's is the most recent but I'm not even an Apple user. Google shows the area absolutely no love. Also I've sent them some corrections last year and they did nothing with them. It's a mystery where they all source this stuff as it does not even match the county maps. Both Google and Apple show streets as official streets, that the county says are illegal trails over private property it's like some random person submitted it and they accepted it. The other day there a massive traffic jam and people tried to drive around it and they go stuck in a sand trap those maps thought was a maintained street. If something ever happened to me no way rescue, 911 or uber would ever find me.

Why mu apple maps won't work like yours? Only shows blue spot and won't reroute when I miss the roud

Apple Maps is trash in Philippines, the road names are wrong, the name of the places are in the wrong place, and the navigations are wrong, i already reported this to apple, but they don’t care.
