Hi Adam, My son was just telling me how Google really messed up his search results to check on AI work he's been doing for about a year and that instead of getting 3 pages of results he's only getting 3 total results and he has to use several search engines to obtain the info he needs. I shared your video with him thanks for putting it up. Also, I agree 100% that the best content is a win win for readers and Google rankings. I'm a painting contractor by trade but have to stop due to injuries and age and need to learn how to develop multiple streams of income to replace it and I look forward to continuing to learn how from you sharing your personal experience and growth Thank you very much, Jim

😂 Yeah, I pay attention to some of them to make sure the content updating process is moving in the right direction but I don’t worry about it too much because it’s always aiming for search intent and creating the best article.

After march 2024 core update im done with my hobby. I had original content and my site was getting huge traffic for 5+ years. Now all this hard work turned into dust in a single day

Great. But that was specifically about software affiliate. What about physical products like shoes laptops camera etc. How can we write reviews on these products without owning them?

Traffic doesn't equal revenue is kind of true for only one side. There are people like me trying to run their blogs on traffic because we don't have traffic at all. For example, I've had 100 visitors a day, how can I convince them to buy something from my site. It's because they don't trust us. And then the spam update of October came our way. Now I've had zero traffic from Google for the last 2 months. This kinda hurt man......

It's doing better now that it was before. Traffic is up 30% because we pivoted to easier to rank for informational content.

I got destroyed by the last update. Someone told me I needed to switch my domain that it was that bad. I'm so lost that I don't know what to do.

I think this is the one called skyscraper content, you see who's on the top and try to outdo his article. You're right, it's not easy.

Also who is editing your videos? They are 🔥🔥🔥

It can take longer than 3 months for most people. Keep pushing and creating solid content + build up your domain rating. I didn't see results until 6 months in! :)

What about a site that Google decides to de-index, but then tell you that all of your articles are still in the index? I lost 90% of my traffic over night, SERP robot and AHRefs show that I have lost thousands of keywords, but Google says my site is fine - no manual actions or security issues. My top 100+ articles are dead. From 1500 - 1800 visitors a day to around 150 - 250. It makes no sense. Forums are in its place in the SERPs, and they don't even answer the query. What do you suggest?

@@patrickmorgan5024 Hey Patrick. Yes, my site recovered from the first drop after 32 days, but dropped again on August 2nd and is down 90% again, lost all keywords except for those that are ranking in the top 3 places, all articles are indexed according to Google though.

@@patrickmorgan5024 So I paid for a technical SEO audit and they said they couldn't see anything wrong. They suggested that I improve my interlinking and concentrate on NLP and try to reduce the over optimization on my site. I revamped my site, removed Ezoic ads, paid for wp Rocket and optimized my site. I passed mobile CWV but desktop just wouldn't pass. Both speed scores were 100. I then migrated to cloudflare as well. After all those changes my site came back, but I think that it probably came back on its own. I added Ezoic back about a week ago with the cloudflare integration and my speeds all fail and CWV too. Is it related? I have no idea.
