Google Just Released Gemini Advanced - Powered by Gemini Ultra 1.0
Google just made three major updates to their AI chatbot. First, they completely rebranded Google Bard to Google Gemini.
If you go to bard.google.com, it will bring you to gemini.google.com
They also released a brand new AI plan called Gemini Advanced, which is $20 per month through a subscription.
Gemini Advanced is powered by a brand new AI model, called Ultra 1.0
With our Ultra 1.0 model, Gemini Advanced is far more capable at highly complex tasks like coding, logical reasoning, following nuanced instructions, and creative collaboration.
They also released a new Gemini app, available on Android and through the Google app on iOS.

Bard was built using the LaMDA system architecture, Gemini is built using the PaLM 2 system architecture..

the most annoying thing for me on chat got is when i hit the “EVERY 3 HOUR MESSAGE LIMIT” or whatever… does the $20 google one have a message limit?

I asked bard hours after the announcement if it was now Gemini? Bard told me no, it was still Bard. So i was confused.
I cannot find the Android app on the play store on my Samsung S24 Ultra in the UK.
So Google is charging you money now to track everything you do. Very smooth business model!
Is there a way to upload an excel file in Gemini Advanced ?
I just tried it and sent a photo of an engine part where my hand is showing and it said i cant process human pics .. i wonder whats that

There is just another AI model amongst the plethora of this type of model. All this plethora of AI models is just unfathomable. Bored now with this continued pay, pay ,pay, pay with anything being really anything diffrent.
