I just wanted to know if there's any chance of companies like google hiring undergrad freshers(I'm a 4th year student), for data engineering roles, since a lot of skills you mentioned usually come with hands on experience? and if so, what resources do you suggest to get started w these. thanks a lot :)

Hi Sakshi, thanks for watching! For this role, I have not seen Google hiring freshers. As it requires prior experience in data processing frameworks and algorithms. However companies like ZS where I was working previously are a good place to start if you're interested in this role as they would hire freshers.

Thanks Ekta. I had prepared basic data structures like you mentioned. Didn't practice a lot of DP or graph. I used hackerrank for this. System design is a little tricky to prep for. You need to google some basic batch and streaming pipelines' architecture and if you know one of the clouds then it will be helpful. For me, my old job had a lot of this daily. So it was simpler. Data modeling case study is also something you can search for. I will try to keep these questions in mind and also try to create a video for qna.
